I would not have been able to tolerate Shep's running commentary.

Shep's a great guy but I have to agree with you on that one.

Dumb question, but does SGT. york have a bandage from recently being castrated?

If you look closely, you will see that his saddle is on backwards. What you are noticing is part of what holds it on in that unnatural position.

ok I am crying now!

Me too.

I lived in Washington, and remember much of this for President Kennedy. But his is one of my greatest heroes, Ronald Reagan.

I'd rather stick pins in my eyes.

The Battle Hymn...

My God... I am totally breathless to be able to witness such a beautifully fitting display of dignity and respect for this great man.

Thanks for looking, and I appreciate your kind words.

It is hard for me to say much about this subject- Mr. Reagan is tied inexorably to a part of my life, that while largely good, also has ties to my Dad, Mom, and first wife- all dead now- that makes it hard to touch.

They all admired him so, and worked so hard to get him into the Presidency, and I really can't think of him without recalling them.

May they all be in a better place.
