Or that the violence itself is proof of U.S. policy failure -- all to demoralize the American people and defeat George W. Bush in November. We keep hearing speculation on whether terrorists will try to influence the vote in the fall. As we see here, they're already trying to do that. But the effort will fail -- it's Bush for Four More Years.
And they call their mosques places of worship?

KUFA, Iraq (AP) -- Explosions rocked the compound surrounding the Kufa mosque on Monday after ammunition used by fighters loyal to Muqtada al-Sadr apparently caught fire, witnesses and Shiite militia members said. At least nine people were hurt.
Flames and smoke rose above the building. Firefighters and ambulances raced to the site, where fighters in al-Sadr's al-Madhi army had been holed up.
Riyadh Moussa, a militiaman who had been sleeping in compound, said he heard a "whoosh of a missile in the air" and a strong thud when a projectile hit the storage area.
"I'm sure it was the Americans who did it," he said. "We have no other enemies."
A spokesman for the U.S.-led coalition said no forces were near the mosque at the time of the blast. Iraqi police took small arms fire when they tried to approach to see what was going on, the U.S. military said.
The mosque had been the site of near-daily clashes between American troops and al-Sadr's forces. However, the site had been peaceful since Thursday under a deal meant to end the fighting.
Under the plan, al-Sadr's al-Mahdi Army is supposed to pull back from the Islamic shrines in Kufa and its twin city, Najaf, and hand over security to Iraqi police.
The U.S. Army agreed to a request from the local governor to keep U.S. troops away from the Kufa mosque, where al-Sadr preaches, to give Iraqi security forces a chance to ease tensions.
Al-Mahdi army members were gathering outside the mosques Monday, some armed with rifles, and stopped reporters from approaching the mosque.
At the Furat al-Awsat hospital in Kufa, Mohammed Abdul-Kadhim, a nurse, said that nine people were brought in with injuries from the explosions, mostly burns. The injured included both civilians and militiamen, he said.
However, the number of the injured may be higher since the al-Mahdi militia is known not to take their injured to the local hospitals.
One of the militiamen in the hospital shouted at reporters and officials, threatening them if they released any information.
If true, it's about time.

Except the Kurds, Israelis, Sunnis, Iranis, Kuwaitis, Qataris, Omanis, Hindus, Parsee, Sikhs, Anamist,Christians, Sufis, dervishs, Baha'i, Zoroastrians, gymnosophists, Brahmanists, Jains, Buddhists, Tantrists, Taoists, Confucianists, Shintoists, Theosophists, Mormons, Rosicrucians, occultists, gnostics and infidels. But outside of that absolutely no enemies.
Probably just some kids lighting off firecrackers inside the Mosque compound.
Yet the media loves those animals.
Now isn't that a shame...someone must have been smoking while sitting on the ammo dump in the mosque. I love getting good news like this first thing in the morning!
Another of those "nonexistant" munitions caches in a mosque (where we ALL KNOW that NO one would store weapons - sarcasm intended) goes up. Well, those explosives won't be used to kill any of our troops!
