No kidding. Why we carried so much of Clinton's baggage is a mystery. Tenet should have been replaced long ago. Please God - Mineta next...

Unlike many freepers, I'd be astounded to see Tenet speak out badly about the president.

Thanks for the screen cap!
To: plain talk
that's is correct. way too many optimists on this thread - this is a serious negative development for Bush, 150 days from the election.
To: null and void
I doubt it..I don't believe he will do a Clarke.

Is he a Democrat?
Wow, all I say is, he better keep
his mouth SHUT.
Otherwise, the enemy/Dems/Media
will try to exploit him against W.

No it isn't. Make McCain director. That will force the RATS to shoot themselves in the head.

I thought of Miller and Rudy but I'm not sure I wouldn't have them on the campaign trail right now. What about bring back James Woosley? Former Clinton appointe to provide cover in the Senate and "gets it" about Al Queda and Iraq

I do not think Tenet resigning will have an effect on the president's relection chances at all.
For those voters who even pay attention to these things, half will be happy to see him go and half will not be happy but won't blame his going on the president.
