House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Sunday that it took "great courage" for her to bash President Bush two weeks ago as "an incompetent leader . . . who has no judgment, no experience and no knowledge of the subjects that he has to decide upon" - explaining that she leveled the incendiary criticism to help U.S. troops in Iraq.
"I made the statement that I did - and I think with great courage, if I might say about myself - because I am worried about the troops on the ground in Iraq," Pelosi told "Meet the Press."
"Believe me, I said this for the troops. I said this for the troops. [It was] a cry for help for the troops," she insisted.

While she isn't entirely freeze dried yet, but she certainly is taut around the cheekbones. She gets a "handle with care" warning with a "wear face protection" for safety in bed.
I want to know how it is these folks think they look good? Do people who get facelifts have access to special mirrors?

CNBC yanked both re-airings: now on my Directv Guide at the 2 times "Meet the Press" was to re-air, it says "SIGN OFF." MSNBC has replaced it with a bio on Meg Ryan. My local NBC affiliate isn't showing it until 2:59 am and I am sure that one will be pulled as well! I am so angry this was yanked! If a Repub burst into tears, they would have it on a loop on every channel all day, all week, all month!

If one feels compelled to tell everyone how "courageous" they are, they are not "courageous" and they don't even believe that they are "courageous". Pelosi is just another insecure, naive, demagogic gas bag Democrat.

Now THAT is really sad when you have to tell the world that YOU have great courage.
People with honest to God courage have no need to tell the world they do. The world just knows it.
What a sad, pathetic person Pelosi is.

In the first place Pelosi would never "rush into freeway traffic at rush hour." That's her limo driver's job. Don't ever get her confused with the "little" people. I still maintain her entire reason for living, her "existence" is based on one new outfit per day, lots of make up, face lift after tummy tuck after new shoes after public appearances ad-nauseaum. Bubble faces does not exist in reality only in her overblown, unreal mind that is clearly at risk of exploding.

"That would be very courageous decision, Minister".
In the best show ever about politics, Sir Humphrey once explained how he could kill any of the Minister's plans by saying it was, 'courageous'. One of the scariest words a politician could hear.
Curious that Ms. Pelosi would use that word . . .

I've often wondered why the left did not complain so much about Korea as they did VN. Could it be that they did not realize how costly in American lives that deadly war really was? They didn't even call it a war, but a "Police Action." How absurd. I lost friends there and regret to this day that the RATs refused to let us win that one either, as they surely did in VN.

I'm sure that the troops will vote for Kerry in November based on "Nervous" Nancy's spiel. /sarcasm And this time, the secretary of defense will not be issuing orders that their ballots not be counted...

I just heard a great comment from a former POW who said it is disgusting to hear all about how certain people say they support the troops but not the cause they are willing to die for.

I've wondered the same thing. The only thing I can come up with is the self-centeredness of us Baby Boomers came in vogue in the late 60's & 70's.

MTP was not shown in the local market here. We got a broadcast countdown, then blank screen, then a re-run of an Ellen Degenerate show. Odd, indeed.
It's pretty obvious that the botox needle has slipped several times, infusing the paralyzing toxin into Nan's brain. Those eyes-wide-open give her an eerie look, something one would find on the Sci-Fi Channel about 2 a.m.

As long as liberal twits like Nancy Pelosi continue to attack the policy of the Bush administration, the further the war effort will be undermined, the longer the conflict in Iraq will last and the more US troops will be killed. The terrorists are feeding off the division that exists between the pro-Bush and anti-Bush forces. It's time Democrats placed patriotism ahead of politics. Lead, follow or get the hell out of the way. Yes, but remember when Pelosi was selected as a party leader the pundits said this would ensure an anti-war left wing democratic party. This is a Kerry nightmare, and will (a) help strengthen Nader, and (b) drive many voters to Bush. So I say, come on Nancy, tell us what you really feel.
