The FBI office in Denver has received 'numerous' calls about the seven people believed to be associated with Al Qaeda pictured Wednesday in the newspapers.
Samuel Mac, manager of the Denny's in Avon Co., said two men-he subsequently identified from their photographs as Adnan G. El Shukrijumah and Abderrauof Jdey-came into his Denny's which is just off Interstate 70, Wednesday about 8PM.
One ordered a chicken sandwich and a salad, the other just a salad, Mac said. They were demanding, rude and obnoxious, he said.
They said they were from Iran and were driving from New York to the West Coast.
Monique Kelso, spokswoman for the Denver FBI office said they had recieved at least a dozen calls about the pictures.

If the FBI didn't want citizens calling about these men, maybe they shouldn't have bothered to post their pictures.
Frankly the FBI seem to be damned near useless. Have they done anything right in the last ten years?

I looked at th map, Interstate 70 goes to 15, which goes S.W, straight into Los Angeles. Quite a plausible destination for the terrorists.

Cicero, unfortunately I think alot of that has to do with the federal employee "I can't be fired, no matter how incompetent" union mind set. It's rampant.

Also goes straight through Las Vegas. Alternatively, they could take I-15 north once they hit it and go through SLC, Boise, and then on to Portland and Seattle. They could also take I-84 west out of SLC and head to San Francisco (though that's not a direct route by any means). I-70 will put you pretty much right into a route to any of the major cities on the West Coast.
IF this is a credible sighting, this guy should be able to provide good IDs (i.e., facial hair, length of hair, clothing), and stuff like that. This should be publicized because both I-70 and I-15 are huge trucking lanes. Tell all the truckers to be on the lookout for two mid-eastern looking guys driving a car with out of state plates (if they drove from NY), and put the same info up at major rest stops and truck stops all along I-15. It would be pathetically easy to give every UHP and CHP officer a stack of 15 BOLO signs and have them hit every reststop on their route. You'd have the whole state covered in 5 hours.

After reading this story and all the posts, I am amazed that few have taken a legitamte interest. The main topic seems to be if someone is new the post can not be of any importance. Why do most not believe that these two men could have been sighted in Colorado?
I got similar treatment almost immediately after registering here, about six years ago.
