Christian Tortured to Death by Islamic Seminary Students

Muslims from an Islamic seminary in Toba Tek Singh, Punjab Province, Pakistan tortured a young Christian for five days and nights in order to force him to convert to Islam.

Students from the seminary run by Maulvi Ghulam Rasool set upon 19-year old Javaid Anjum, accusing him of stealing their water pump when they found him drinking from an outside tap on 17 April 2004. Javaid replied to their accusations by freely telling them he was a Christian merely searching for a drink and that they could be assured that he would not steal anything.

Upon learning that Javaid was a Christian, those accosting him forcibly took him into the school where he was tortured for five days by Maulvi Ghulam Rasool and others. Throughout his torture, Javaid’s tormentors ordered him to deny his Christian faith and embrace Islam. Finally they took him to a local police station on 22 April and accused him of theft. He was clearly dying so the police informed his family and allowed them to remove him to hospital. Javaid was able to make a statement on video during his hospital treatment, which included dialysis on several occasions because both his kidneys failed. Javaid did not recover from his torture and died in hospital shortly after 2 a.m. on 2 May.

SEVERE TORTURE

Javaid was a university student reading commerce. He had been returning to his grandfather’s house after a visit to an aunt when he was abducted. The injuries Javaid sustained could hardly be more horrific. He was given electric shocks repeatedly to various parts of his body including his ears, which damaged his hearing. His right arm and fingers were fractured and his nails were pulled out. His feet were swollen from beating and he suffered contusions and lacerations all over his body. He received many internal injuries, and besides the two failed kidneys the doctors’ report notes that he passed blood or pus instead of urine. In many places his skin appeared blackened and oozed pus and he could barely move.

In a shocking statement, the head constable at the police station where Javaid was taken said that it was God’s will that he had to die that way and that Muslims there caught and punished him without intending to kill him. Maulvi (Mullah) Ghulam Rasool has been arrested.

A young Christian- the nephew of one of my friends-they are Christians from Jordan (husband/she's American) who is still living in Jordan had his eye put out by the peace loving Islamic warriors. He was ten- I believe. He hid in his room and wouldn't even go to school. His eye looked so bad. My friend raised money had him brought to this country (Atlanta area in Georgia) and his eye was operated on. The AJC did a human interest story on the boy. Of course, my friend didn't tell the AJC what really happened to his eye. The boy's family probably would have been killed if she had done that.

Thanks for the ping, ~Kim4VRWC's~

where's the outrage by muslims who live in america? zippo? Nada?

How about a more pointed question? Where's the outrage anywhere? Oh, sure, I call them mo-slimes and a few others make comments about "religion of peace and love", but no one really expresses outrage.

A good example of outrage is what we've seen regarding U.S. soldiers' behavior at the Iraqi prison. We've seen some outrage with regard to Berg. But the general abuse and even wholesale slaughter of Christians is ignored - even by devout, motivated, very active Christians.

It's nice to meet you neutrino.

It is total Christian persecution.. What I see as an atrocity to christians and even conservatives....is condoned daily. When liberals/mainstream media start speaking out against all persecutions...then I MIGHT start taking those little 2-faced jerks seriously. You can sign up for free monthly newsletters from the following website. They are pretty good little magazines. (at least they were free)

"GEE haven't heard about this on Fox or the others. Wonder why?"

I realize you are asking the question, because everyone wants to keep up the illusion that Islam is a religion of peace, but if Fox is sent a link to the story, they may put it on. There aren't any investigative reporters anymore. All the news programs want to be handed the story.

Fox might put this on the air if they can verify the story and enough of us email the story to them.

Hey, liberals. You are not immune to this either.

Funny -- the academics and gays who are apologists for Islamic groups forget that
they'll be the first to get beheaded or have a wall pushed on top of them
when Shari'a is the law of the land.

The Los Angeles Times had a long article on the suffering of the Sudanese being killed/cleansed from the region of Dafur. I didn't have time for a full re-read, but I think the article managed to never mention that the Arab militias responsible for most of the killing/cleansing and the Arab-run central government are...shhh, don't tell anyone...Islamics!
