May 14, 2004 -- A MAN has his head cut off by al Qaeda in Iraq, and The New York Times aggressively markets the idea - on its front page yesterday - that his death is somehow the fault of the United States. "The family of Nicholas E. Berg challenged American military officials on Wednesday," according to lead paragraph in the Times' story, "insisting that the man beheaded by Islamic terrorists in Iraq had earlier been in the custody of federal officials who should have done more to protect him."

"If she had lived, Mary Jo Kopechne would be 62 years old. Through his tireless work as a legislator, Edward Kennedy would have brought comfort to her in her old age."
- Charles Pierce, in the Boston Globe.

One of his best!
Emphasizes once again that the U.S. media and the Democrats are America's enemies -- our fifth column.

I did not see the video of the beheading but I'm having trouble sleeping just from reading about it. I don't understand why the whole world is not outraged over it. I just don't get it. Why isn't the world up in arms to find those five hooded monsters and demand that they pay with their lives for what they did to Nick Berg. Is it because Nick Berg was a Jew?
LostThread and I pondered this same question at length over the weekend. I'd like to think she can see things more clearly than her husband.
The Democrats, the left in general, and the media are so hate driven in their opposition to conservative politics that they will overtly side with terrorists against this administration. And they'll live with the violent murder of a few thousand Americans if their ultimate goal can be realized, just like they were willing to overlook Bill Clinton's monstorous sexual appetite and proclivity to abuse womenn and his position of power. They'll win at any cost, including the abandonment of principle, morality and human life itself to prevail.
Media Schadenfreude and Media Shenanigans PING list
Actually, there is at least one female magazine reporter in Iraq who has been quoted as saying she hopes more Iraqis die, so Bush will be defeated.
I'm waiting for the DVD release...Great artwork!
"The United States is, according to the man in whose car Mary Jo Kopechne drowned, no better than the regime of Saddam Hussein."
Finally, someone dares turn the tables on this sorry excuse for a human being and remind the world of his criminal past.
haha! Good one. Four bad boys !
