The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to intervene in the same-sex marriages law in Mass. Truly a sad day for America.
Deep sigh....
Come out from among them.
I did a search and could not find this anywhere. It came to me as breaking news. Hope I have posted this right.
It just breaks my heart. We are headed down a very slippery slope.....
That's not clergy, it's an apostate.
FYI
I certainly don't agree with gay marriage, but I'm not sure there's anything in the Constitution that prohibits it.
That's why we need a Constitutional ban on gay marriage.
That's not clergy, it's an apostate.
You are absolutely RIGHT . These apostates are the very hands of satan himself!!!!
This will be much different and much much bigger than the rush to San Francisco. I can't imagine that all the nation's homosexuals won't be headed to MA. I also gotta believe these mariages will be valid nationwide.
As it should be. The Supreme Court should have NO jurisdiction in how a state issues licenses.
The U.S. Supreme Court has absolutely zero jurisdiction to review a decision of the Supreme Court of Massachusetts based solely on the Massachusetts Constitution. That's why not even Scalia or Rehnquist voted to intervene.
If Muslims ruled we wouldn't have gay marriage. Seems to me we are fighting in Iraq to insure gay people have the freedom to get married. Maybe we will lose the war on terrorism.
"That's why not even Scalia or Rehnquist voted to intervene."
Yes, our guys fight by the rules . . .
Which still makes what is happening in MA a great tragedy. The Left would use the Supreme Court to advance their agenda . . . out of principal, our guys cannot . . .
Yep - the press releases are flying already....the invitations have been put in the mail....and the grand ballrooms have already been rented....
We should believe activist judges who disregard the Constitution would have any regard for a Constitutional Ammendment because?
In order for an Ammendment to be effective, some judges will have to be removed from the bench.
Maybe Provincetown will be destroyed by a meteor.
"We should believe activist judges who disregard the Constitution would have any regard for a Constitutional Ammendment because?"
Indeed . . .
I have not heard anything about Bush actually doing anything to get that constitutional amendment. I am waiting.
