Islamic Web site claims revenge killing Video shows beheading of man identified as AmericanBREAKING NEWS The Associated Press Updated: 1:28 p.m. ET May 11, 2004CAIRO, Egypt - A video posted Tuesday on an Islamic militant Web site showed a group affiliated with al-Qaida beheading an American civilian in Iraq, saying the death was revenge for the abuse of Iraqi prisoners by American soldiers.

The video showed five men wearing headscarves and black ski masks, standing over a bound man in an orange jumpsuit — similar to a prisoner’s uniform — who identified himself as Nick Berg, a U.S. contractor whose body was found on a highway overpass in Baghdad on Saturday.

“My name is Nick Berg, my father’s name is Michael, my mother’s name is Susan,” the man said on the video. “I have a brother and sister, David and Sarah. I live in ... Philadelphia.”

After reading a statement, the men were seen pulling the man to his side and putting a large knife to his neck. A scream sounded as the men cut his head off, shouting “Allahu Akbar!” — “God is great.” They then held the head out before the camera.

Berg was a small-business owner from the Philadelphia suburbs, his family said Tuesday.

While I share the same hope, I know that these animals will never lose the will to kill as many of us as possible. It is bred into them and they are drawing numbers of fellow murderers as we speak.

What I wonder about these outrages is: Does Al Jezerah send a photographer there in person to view these disgusting events?

Or do the animals themselves tape the events and then show them to Al Jazerah who posts them?

Either way, I think Al Jazerah should definitely be held to account over these outrages. If nobody publicized this stuff, it would looose its propaganda value.

I think we should retaliate by beheading the Editor of Al Jazerah.

Of course all of this could be forgotten if the head of CBS would give a public apology to Nick Berg and any future soldiers / contractors killed due to your broadcasts. CBS should also make a sizable donation to the grieving families - at least match what Saddam used to give to the families of suicide bombers.

Suddenly putting these savages on leashes doesn't sound like a bad idea.

Shock belts would be better. They had an example of those, which are used by police and detention officials in this country, on the History Channel a couple of days ago. They deliver what must be one heck of a jolt to the kidney area, and they do put down the "subject", very painfully.

I couldn't watch it with the sound on, but I am so angry with CBS that I could spit fire. I'm always put off by them, mind you, but now it's just plain anger.

I say that ANY politician that has gone overboard on the NAKED prisoners story and doesn't CONDEMN this should have their HEAD BLOTTED OUT or they should be filmed only from the NECK down whenever they speak on TV.
