"That's what I'm praying for..........an open heart."

May it be so for him and for all others like him who see this article and story that now are posted on Drudge's website as well.

I don't believe it. Show me one, just one instance where john kerry ever claimed he was in Vietnam. I dare you.

Because if he was in Vietnam, I am 1 flabillion percent certain I would have heard about it by now.

:)

Thank you for the ping, Mayor.

I had tears as I read this.

What did BC say "I feel your pain"? You can tell from the story and the picture that this President DOES feel our pain. He is holding that young girl as he would hold one of his own daughters.

"The way he was holding me, with my head against his chest, it felt like he was trying to protect me," Ashley said. "I thought, 'Here is the most powerful guy in the world, and he wants to make sure I'm safe.' I definitely had a couple of tears in my eyes, which is pretty unusual for me."

Now I've got tears in my eyes.

That is fantastic! Did you write it? If so, you need to send your entire post to WH, GOP, etc, etc.

Welcome to Mason. It's changed a LOT since I've lived there, though. I remember the town when there were only 5,000 people, and I'm only 46.

I sure wish we could move back. I was born and raised in Mason - lived there for 30 years. We had to move to the Louisville/southern IN area due to my husband's job - and we've been here almost 17 years.

I'd go back to Mason and the Cincy area in a heartbeat, if I could. Our families are still in the Mason/greater Cincy area.

By the way - if you are in the uptown part of Mason - and notice one of the Fire stations - named the James J. Knott Fire Station - well - that's my grandfather. He died 5 years ago(at age 92) last month. He was fire chief and police chief in Mason for 25+ years.

Many freepers from years ago might remember when I asked for prayers when he died. They (the freepers) were so supportive with their prayers and kind comments.

FR is great!!

Now - I'll go now - ducking and running, before I get flamed for bringing "personal stuff" to the thread. Sorry, folks....

ALso post it to a thread of it's own so we can ping other to just your poem....with the picture....Your poem, like a true piece of art, says it all.

AM afraid it will get lost in this thread that is rapidly getting longer. We can also ask others to activate their ping list. No Bush supporter will want to miss it.

The poem is wonderful! You are very creative!

May God Bless George W Bush. I just burst into tears when I saw this photo. Why anyone can even bear false witness against this man is beyond me....

The story and the photo actually brought tears to my eyes.

But, I couldn't help but think of #!$%&*$ Clinton and the stones on Normandy beach. Liberal *&$#s will (incorrectly) view this as we (correctly) viewed that.

Where would I post it, though? It's not Breaking News, surely, nor Editorials.

General Interest, maybe? But won't it get buried there, too?

True.
Heck, even if it bit them elsewhere, they'd say it was mean spiritedness or setup photo-op.
