ONE SUSPECT ARRESTED, ANOTHER AT-LARGE AFTER WEAPONS & AMMO FOUND ON DOWNTOWN ROOFTOP

Downtown Little Rock is the scene of an intense search after police arrested one man and found weapons, ammunition and a gas mask on a rooftop.

The situation began Wednesday evening after the suspect, Gared Tumblesome, tried to check into a downtown hotel, claiming to be an Air Force Special Forces member. Hotel employees became suspicious and alerted police. Tumblesome was later arrested as he reportedly tried to climb down from a rooftop in the 200 block of West 2nd Street. A search of the rooftop revealed the weapons and ammunition.

Police are still searching for another man, believed to have been staying with Tumblesome at another hotel. Police helicopters are hovering over downtown Little Rock as officers scour the area.

The Air Force has been investigating Tumblesome and claims he made about knowledge of military information.

Sort of weird. Gas mask, police helicopters, Air Force involvement, weapons on a roof.

What nationality would Tumblesome be? Almost sounds like an alias to me.

I'm not sure what this article meant to say there. If the author meant Tumblesome may have knowledge of military information, then it's more worrisome to me than some lone Rambo wannabe wingnut.

There are some Tumblesomes if you do an Altavista search (none on Google), but the name appears to be very, very, rare.

There are genealogical references to this surname being in America in the 1700s.

If he got a small cut on his arm climbing down off the roof....

Can he apply for the Purple Heart?

Sounds like this might be the first one in the family to come out of the hills since then.

Is Tumblesome from Tombstone?

Or will he end up there there?

Air Force was looking for two men because they called Little Rock Air Force base over and over saying they were Navy Seals and "must" talk to a superior officer or base commander. Air Force has been in contact with them for several days. SWAT and helicopters were brought in. Second individual got away. Claimed they had Top Secret documents. Police found folder marked Top Secret with crayon drawings in it. Man had gas mask, weapons, and Navy fatigues.

Sounds like a nutcase. But odd that two nutcases would get together like that.

Nutcases and crayola drawings? 1st and 2nd grade classes across the nation are filled with them. What's so odd about that? Then watch what they do when they get to high school. Man, it's not crayolas any more.
