"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"

Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

"Why haven't we touched Saudi investors, BinLadins and Americans who profited from 911"

You are right... " Because the Administration has stonewalled the whole damn affair."

The question is why the stonewalling...for profit of some sort or could there be a more noble underpinning? (I'll settle for a glimmer of American ethos.) Is this to buy time while the cyber cubicles and armed forces hunt the elusive foes on the other end of the Saudi money rope? (One can hope, or must hope!)

Because the Bushes and Binladins are friends, the Bush coversup for the Saudis and the whole wot has been to deflect attention away from the Saudis - who attacked us.

It stinks.

Guess all diets are off now;) Forget the velcro. Time to party?

If the event is credible, the celestial entertainment will be better than any silly party. I'm a big fan of watching meteor showers. Unfortunately, I was in San Diego for many of the really good ones over the past 10 years. The night and morning low clouds spoiled the show. The skies are usually clear and dark in the summer around this part of Idaho. Much better for viewing meteors and passing satellites. Watching the ISS pass over is pretty good as well.

Honestly,

I don't know what this guy is talking about. This level of solar activity is common, very common. I've been watching this closely for the last 3 years and this activity is NOTHING compared to what we regularly have. This guy doesn't know what he's talking about.

10 C-class flares over ten days? Sheesh, I've seen 10 C-class flares over ten hours and thought nothing of it.

This article is all alarmist B. s.

Please look into some of the records on solar activity to get a persective. What a crock of bull puckey!!!

Heck, it's not even been enough to get a decent aurora going, and that doesn't really take much.

FAA problems causing cross-country flight delays

5/4/2004 11:45 AM
By: News 24 Houston

Planes were backed up on the runways, waiting to take off.

If you're flying in or out of an airport today, you'd better be prepared to wait.

The Federal Aviation Administration says there are major computer problems going on all over the country, forcing many delays.

"At this time -- at 11 o'clock, the FAA told us that their problem was fixed, and we're just catching up as best as we can," said Houston Airport System spokesman Ernie DeSoto.

According to DeSoto, the whole thing started around 8:45 this morning.

The FAA Center had some computer problems, which they addressed as soon as they could. But for a while, nothing was allowed to depart.

Eventually the FAA started departing only northbound traffic, and then they started departing only eastbound traffic -- a manual depart, with certain miles of separation.(snip)

Coronal mass ejections and increased solar wind speed from coronal holes do seem to effect weather and definitely can effect communications. However, the level of recent activity that he is talking about is nothing, really nothing. If it were 10 M-class events pointed directly at earth over 10 days, I might be inclined to take notice (and would certainly be looking for auroral activity at night!!! it's one of my passions!!) But this amount of C-class activity is really normal, even below normal. It's not uncommon to see 5 or 6 C-class events / day. That would add up to 50-60 events over 10 days, so you can see how far below normal what this guy is reporting is.

Keep an eye on spaceweather.com and also visit the dx listeners club page at http://dxlc.com/solar. the dx listeners club page has the best solar reporting around. the guy is independant and often chides NASA for being slow on the switch.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Well it does appear that someone is messing with the computers, doesn't it? Are they just practicing for when they can shut all the computers down, then what happens to all the planes still in the air? Is that possible is there backup for the computers?
Yes, that's what I'm refering to, the transit of Venus, when the Earth, Venus, Sun AND Mercury will be in direct line. Mercury will be opposite the sun, but all 3 will be in direct alignment!!
people keep blaming these sicknesses on depleted uranium bullets when there is yellowcake raw uranium all over Iraq. This stuff is turning up in scap metal deliveries from Iraq, there were drums that contained it that were stolen after the war and used to hold water, the contamination from it has to be quite prevelant, yet "depleted uranium bullets" get the blame.
Seems like a disconnect to me.
