"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"
Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

I'll bet half the country doesn't know it either! I didn't, and was paying a lot of attention!
Can you believe it? We're supposed to just sit here and take it, if we get nuked.
Wake me when this nightmare is over.

Is was Presidential Decision Directive 60 (same thing as a EO). Here is one of many articles
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=15665
If you do a google search for Presidential Decision Directive 60, or PDD 60, there are lots of articles. I could not find if Pres. Bush has rescinded this. It can be done. One president just writes an EO that essentially overrides the previous EO, I believe.
Clinton was (IMO) the king of EO's. If he couldn't get Congress to vote in something he wanted he just wrote an EO. Remember the infamous line "Stroke of the pen, law of the land, kinda cool"? That was said by Paul Begala to Clinton when he was signing one of him many EO's. Disgusting pigs.

Thanks for the link, I'll read it a bit later.
Yes, the Begala quote makes sense in that context. Disgusting pigs, is right.

I've noticed some correlation in increased volcanic activity after the arrival of a coronal mass ejection. It also seems to intensify bad weather systems e.g. hurricanes and thunderstorms. Even if there is a correlation, that knowledge isn't very useful.

Speaking of the picture at # 6, when Hillary went to Iraq last Thanksgiving, at our expense, and was flown around in a military helicopter, the code name for her helicopter was "Broomstick 1."

Thanks for that article. For the life of me I can't figure out why Pres. Bush is doing this, or, not undoing some of Clinton's doings. It is mind boggling. I've wondered if one of Clinton's many FBI files has a Bush name in there.

Well, I'm finally back, at least in small doses. Mom came home from the hospital today, and except for being extremely tired, seems to be doing fairly well after spending 18 days in the hospital and surviving a surgery several docs didn't think she would live through.
Words cannot express how grateful I am to all of my FRiends here for the kind words of encouragement; but most of all, for your many prayers. I have witnessed first-hand the awesome power of prayer and His healing hand. Thanks to you, my fellow FReepers, for lifting us both up.
Now -- it looks like I have some reading to do!

Hi JP--I just started trying to catch up. Sean posted that comment (about the 60 minute demise of the U.S.)on this thread about a day or so ago. I'll try to find it.

What have I missed? Is Israel being threatened with a nuclear strike?

"Their religion prohibits muslims from paying interest."
Thing is, they pay it up front and call it something else and don't get the tax break. Fine with me.

That's interesting that you notice a correlation between coronal mass ejections and earth's natural occurrences. The guy who writes this newsletter, Mitch Battros, has some far-fetched ideas, but some of them are interesting. I see significance in this type of knowledge because of the correlation between celestial occurrences, coronal mass ejections, comets, and how the terrorists watch the sky for significant events. There is also an effect on earth's magnetic field and geomagnetic storms, which can cause power outages and disrupt communications. I am a novice in this subject and know just enough to be dangerous! Any clarification or explanation is appreciated.

So glad to hear your Mom is doing well. Continued prayers for her and for your family.

You aren't kidding!
Any further information on the F-16 flights over DC?

Oh my dear Lord. I followed your link and saw that cartoon. I am almost speechless. ALMOST! What kind of demented monster could even come up with the idea for a cartoon of this nature????? Is this how many liberals feel about the deaths, not only of Tillman, but of our other brave brave soldiers???????? This is just freaking sick
