I've noticed some correlation in increased volcanic activity after the arrival of a coronal mass ejection. It also seems to intensify bad weather systems e.g. hurricanes and thunderstorms. Even if there is a correlation, that knowledge isn't very useful.

That's interesting that you notice a correlation between coronal mass ejections and earth's natural occurrences. The guy who writes this newsletter, Mitch Battros, has some far-fetched ideas, but some of them are interesting. I see significance in this type of knowledge because of the correlation between celestial occurrences, coronal mass ejections, comets, and how the terrorists watch the sky for significant events. There is also an effect on earth's magnetic field and geomagnetic storms, which can cause power outages and disrupt communications. I am a novice in this subject and know just enough to be dangerous! Any clarification or explanation is appreciated.
