"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"
Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

And while we all keep hearing how much the liberal whining wimps deplore the Iraq war, the cartoonist includes Afghanistan. It is shocking. Tillman gave up his life there for all the loved ones lost on 911 and in all the prior attacks by jihadis in the '90s. I guess the cartoonist was fortunate to have lost no one. He is a damn fool; imagine Tillman's family viewing such a cartoon.
Reminds me of the awful cartoonist who ridiculed the 911 widows and I think Danny Pearl's widow after 911 about money for their losses. Only thing is I think the Tillman cartoon is even worse.

gotcha : ) We are in agreement on this.

Pentagon Misses Toxic Report Deadline
Monday May 03, 2004 7:49pm
Washington (AP) - The Pentagon missed a deadline last week for sending Congress a report on contamination by a toxic chemical at defense sites nationwide. Perchlorate, an ingredient in rocket fuel, has been found in drinking water supplies in 22 states where it was manufactured and handled. It has been linked to damage to the thyroid and may be especially harmful to infants (snip)

"MAGNETIC FIELD FLIPS FOR 12 HOURS March 6 ,2001"
Did you buy stock in Reynolds Wrap yet?
There was an earlier discussion several threads ago on the change of the Atlantic Ocean's salinity due to ionic migration to the equator...less saline in the north Atlantic now and this was related to polar field changes.
There also was speculation about the Severnaya operation being related to this phenomena.

Does anyone recall hearing in the past that "algae" (both oceanic and landbound) killed so many animals and aquatic life? Just about every animal in the country appears to be endangered by some type of pathogen or virus (birds, chickens, horses, dogs, cats, deer, elk, moose, buffalo, porpoises, shrimp. whales, cattle, otters, fish) Many of these animals are part of our food chain. Imported fruits and vegetables may be the bi-product of poor sanitation procedures. Then there are recalls on food products processed within our own country for various reasons (most not good). Topping that with disease affecting our own fruits (including bananas) and vegetables (vine types), what will be left for us?

More fires reported just now in Corona I-15, Valencia RT 126 and I-5 (75% contained). The Temecula fire has now started to go full steam ahead according to KABC in LA. Seems to be burning on three fronts.
BK any more news on the plane intercepts or the fires?

I've heard about red tide for many years- but never about "algae" or strange lichen poisoning land animals.
The 19 cattle dying for no known reason is troubling- blamed on some kind of "jelly" near a well-head?
I really don't know what to think.
Incidentally, I read a book recently about the relationship between US biowarfare research at Plum Island, and it's relationship to Lyme disease suddenly "erupting" in Old Lyme, Ct. in the mid 70's.
