Time to Prepare for a Hillary Clinton Nomination at the Convention? Stop Hillary now!
StopHillary ^ | 4-25-04

t is very likely that Hillary Rodham Clinton is going to run for Vice-President of the United States in 2004.

Inside the Washington, DC Beltway, the "professional Republicans" do not believe she will run; instead, the conventional wisdom is that she will wait until 2008 and run for the Presidency.

Guess what? These are the very same people who, back in 1992, never thought then-President George H.W. Bush could possibly lose to a draft-dodging, pot-smoking newcomer named Bill Clinton. So they took Clinton lightly and never even attacked his atrocious record in Arkansas!

Then, in 2000, it happened again. When Congressman Rick Lazio ran against Hillary for the US Senate in New York, his campaign was unprepared and afraid to attack her ultra-liberal record.

These two traits – over-confidence and fear of attacking Hillary’s record – are prescriptions for a national disaster: her election this year as Vice-President of the United States.

We can not allow that to happen!

We at the StopHillaryPAC.com are not going to let it happen again!

Right now the Bush Campaign is focused on how to defeat John Kerry. They are not taking Hillary seriously as a Vice-Presidential candidate.

Bill and Hillary Clinton are determined to manipulate the Democratic Party over the next few months until Kerry's running mate has been decided. During this time, Billary will make sure she is in prime contention to run on a Kerry/Clinton national ticket!

If Kerry & Hillary win, we have a national crisis of the first degree, and we could be forced to deal with a Hillary Presidency as early as 2008 as she makes the smooth transition from Vice-President to Presidential candidate.

If she loses? Well, there's no shame in that! Franklin Roosevelt probably did not think his early Vice-Presidential loss was that bad, as he went on to become a four-term President.

We must nip this threat in the bud! We are going to do what those unprepared politicos should be doing: preparing a national campaign ready to begin the very minute Hillary announces she is running for Vice-President.

It would be good for conservatives if she were nominated. She has huge negatives. It would doom the ticket. "Bring it on."

Yeah, she's gotta wait for '08. The big thing this year would be to make sure that Kerry loses, and that she's indicated for succession. That would mean primarily making stopping a new "star" like Edwards from being future competition. Gotta be a throwaway dullard who doesn't cost them a Senate seat - maybe Clark?

Certainly if she got the VP nod herself she could eclipse most other future-runs, but the danger is that Kerry/Hillary will be beaten too badly, and be a Dull/Duller campaign. Hillary ain't exactly exciting. And some blame may fall to her. Particularly when the Rats get serious about getting elected again and grow introspective about how they might have been a little lackluster in the WOT, and wrong on taxes, the UN, ...

Remember how running with Gore sucked all visible life out of Liebermann? Imagine Hillary sucking it in and having to support the top of the ticket when it ain't her?

The clintons are not patient goons ... Hatellary has begun the steady process to undermine Ketchup boy, leading up to a 'draft hatellary' maneuver at the dnc convention. SinkEmperor will not wait for 2008 ... his lust for power is too great ... and if someone thinks 'the smartest woman alive' is pushing her nomination, they are woefully blind to the MacAwful/sinkEmperor maneuvering going on!

"IMHO Hillary is sabotaging Kerry's campaign. The question is whether it's to take his place now or to ensure such an election disaster for Kerry that she'll be seen as the pary savior. "Sort of" how Nixon became the savior '68 after the Goldwater slaughter in '64, and how Reagan in '80 became the savior after Gerry Ford's ineffectual presidency and loss to Carter in '76."

I totally agree with you.

I don't know if the Hildebeast would even wait until 2008. Remember Hindenburg and Hitler? Remember Vince Foster and Ron Brown?

She also has the small worry that Giuliani might take her on for her senate seat in 2006. I doubt he will, but a defeat would be a big downer on her resume'.

You are so right, lady. They are up to something. Hillary has already talked about an "October surprise". She has been all over the media lately. The Dems have nothing to offer anyone, but they will win if something negative turns up about President Bush right before the election. If H is the Pres or VP candidate, then we need to look out for the "surprise", because she won't run unless she KNOWS that she will win. The outcome of the election will be based solely on Pres. Bush. The Dem candidate is of no consequence IMHO. TM Grasshoppers

"And, should Kerry be re-elected, his vice president will probably be the Democratic candidate in 2012. If he wins and runs again, she is sitting it out again."

That whole sentence just made me blow lunch... (lunch from the entire past week, mind you..)

If Kerry wins in 2004, he will likely seek re-election.

Hillary wants the veep spot
If Kerry wins the Clinton cabal will institute a scandal where he is forced to resign and Hillary becomes Prez

Maybe she won't run again in 2006 to better dedicate her time to saving her party (running for POTUS).

That slap-Hillary site is so satisfying.

Hillary has dedicated, adoring, fervent followers, she brings in a lot of money and has more power in the dem party than any 1st term Senator has ever had.She has a "machine".I do not say she isn't powerful, just that the timing is wrong for her personally to get in the race.I believe she is a formidable politician.

I don't believe she will run this election.I think she will not be a formidable national candidate unless she changes her personality and her way of speaking. She is no Maggie Thatcher.

I hope she does try to run in '08... do you realize the research that we are going to be able to do over the next 4 years??? she'll be lucky to make it to the end of her senate term...

It would be very satisfying if Giuliani announced for her seat and she THEN retired from the senate "to pursue other interests" or better yet "to spend more time with my family."

This is stupid as Hell. Kerry is the Democratic nominee, will be the nominee, and will remain as the nominee. And Hillary won't be anywhere near the ticket, either Pres or VP. Ain't gonna happen.

unfortunately, Rick Lazio got into the race too late(not his fault)--and this is what put him at a disadvantage...

I really hate to open an old wound like this, but Lazio lost because he was an obnoxious twit, definitely not ready for prime time. I remember him shadowing Guiliani on the Sunday morning talk shows, when the nomination was definitely Rudy's, acting like the little nerd in class jumping up and down saying, "Oh! Oh! Pick on me!" Then, when he gets the nomination, he does poorly in the debates, and gets his a** kicked upstate. Due to his shadowing, no one else more formidable (and prepared) was able to get the nomination when Rudy stepped aside.

What's Lazio doing now, anyway?

You never know who'll be a winner for the Dems--it's a thing to humble the observer of human nature.

How I laughed at Bill Clinton! "Nobody will take this sleezy, cheesy hustler seriously."

And Gore? Baron von Munchausen--a patho liar and idiot with the tritest opinions, and a tiresome speaking mannerism. He almost won.

These days, what strikes me about Kerry is that this guy is just plain dumb as a stump. So boring. And a lazy mooch (he does not have much energy for campaigning)...

But Hillary is not stupid, for all her arrogance, this is someone with a brain.
