In some small way, going to war to free the Iraqi people from the despot makes up for the inactivity of the previous administration while Rwanda stained our history. It's like picking up the foreign policy tincan that was being kicked further down the foreign policy path for 8 years. Sooner or later someone had to pick it up and deal with it, rather than kick it down the road for someone else to deal with. This is what makes the Democrats angry. Iraq or any number of things could've been Clinton's legacy, but it was for naught. Clinton just simply couldn't bother with any of them, and just kicked each one down the road.

Do you really dought that Chris will ignore Powell?

Thanks for the feedback. I would not know this, due to living in the Bay Area.
The lunatic leftie who owns KSFO in the Bay area put Sean on delay until the late afternoon/early evening. That is his way of sabatoging the conservative station in our area. The signal is really weak and seems to get worse each year. Even my wife's Lexus has a problem picking KSFO.

I'm just the one who volunteered to keep the list!

Good for Powell. There may be a reason why he is the top diplomat in the world.

Powell was briefed more times than Richard Clarke was under the Clinton administration. Hell, Richard Clarke had more say and input under this administration than he had under the Clinton administration.

Woodward did something similar after "All The President's Men" if I remember right.. "Last Days in Nixon White House" or something like that, it was subsequently pretty much proved to be rumors & hype but apparently his editors didn't care.

There's also obvious reasons why the left in this country continually attack Bush, Rice, and Powell.

Woodward had to know that the Administration has tapes of all conversations they had with him and could smack him down with one push of the "play" button. He really had nothing to lose. It gets him a lot of face time and probably a #1 bestseller. Like Clarke before him, Woodward will be offered a movie deal and some plum media assignment. He's a complete and total slime.
