[history]
April 15, 2004 -- House Judiciary Committee Chairman James Sensenbrenner has demanded the resignation of Jamie Gorelick as a member of the federal 9/11 Commission. Frankly, given her blatant conflicts of interest, she should never have been appointed in the first place.

Nope, the time and date that Slick and Bore testified was the best kept secret on the planet.

Kean also said that Gorelick was one of the most nonpartisan members on the panel - excuse me, didn't he also say the entire panel was nonpartisan. Didn't he just slip up and admit that the panel is partisan afterall?

It was disgusting that he allowed the hearing to turn into a football game the day Condi Rice testified.

To the Honorable Thomas Kean:
9/11 was the worst day in my life as an American. The events of that
day changed the United States and the world forever.
You are chairing a corrupt partisan commission that is brings shame
and disgrace to our country and system of government.
Step back for a moment and look at what you are participating in.
A man of good conscience and character would close the hearings
and disband the commission. You do not really want this farce on
your resume.
Please do the right thing and close this which hunt down or at least
resign in protest.

Also, the 9/11 widders get the ear of the Commission Chair, but the rest of us can suck eggs.

What went wrong is we were attacked. The way to fix it is to annihilate those that attacked us. Unless the people on this commission can carry a rifle or fly a jet, I don't see much use for them. I understand that part and don't disagree
However, I was thinking of the problems in our intel departments because of laws/rules that Carter, The Church Committee, Torricelli, Goreclick memo did to block the departments from doing their job properly
Those are the things that need to be fixed and corrected

"BTW, I don't mean to offend, but the LIBERAL COMMUNIST LIE that McCarthy ruined innocent lives, was as evil as Hitler and ate puppies for breakfast must be put to bed and the record set straight." You by no means offend anyone around here. Thank you very much for your post.
It is exactly the LIBERAL COMMUNIST LIE factor that is operative as we speak at the core of these 9/11 hearings.
How do we know this?
What would Tom Daschle know about it?

Speaking of tid-bit I came across. .. Did you know this??
Gee .. I wonder who sent that fax off "by accident"?
On September 11, 2002, Kristen Breitweiser's home fax machine printed out a document that U.S. intelligence officials didn't want her or anyone else in her situation to have. It was a letter from the congressional committee examining the failure of the CIA, the FBI, and the National Security Agency to detect and prevent the terrorist attacks that killed more than 3,000 men, women, and children exactly one year earlier. Breitweiser, whose husband, Ronald, was among the nearly 2,800 victims at the World Trade Center, was being invited to the Capitol to testify

And what was Commission Chairman Tom Kean's response to calls for Gorelick's dismissal or resignation? "People ought to stay out of our business," he huffed. Gee, Tom...no need to throw a hissy fit just because you got CAUGHT RED HANDED! What a hypocrite.

Lehman was just on Fox defending that Gorelick should remain on the commission. Said she was one of the most non-partisan members of the commission. (That should tell us VOLUMNES!) No, what I think is, he realizes the reaction people are having and he's trying to save what reputation the commission has left.
If I was to take a guess .. after all the time and hours he put in ... Lehman isn't thrilled by what is going on
