BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) -- Several explosions shook the area housing the U.S.-led coalition headquarters on Tuesday. Sirens wailed briefly.
A U.S. military official said it was not clear if the blasts were controlled explosions of old ordnance or an attack. Rebels periodically target the compound with mortars and rockets.
There were no immediate reports of casualties.

This same report was made yesterday. The post date is a day before the report in both postings and there's no active link to the AP article in either thread.
Is this some inside joke ?

The post date is a day before the report in both postings That's because when it's evening in the US, it's "tomorrow" in Iraq, since they're several hours "ahead" of us, timezone-wise. The stories from Iraq are posted as of the date it is locally (e.g. local to Iraq).
