Barbara (L) and Jenna Bush, the daughters of U.S. President George W Bush, walk together from the Darnall Army Community Hospital in Fort Hood, Texas, April 11, 2004 after President Bush (news - web sites) and members of his family visited with soldiers wounded in Iraq (news - web sites). Bush awarded 10 purple hearts to troops recovering in the hospital, after attending an Easter Sunday Church service at a chapel within the army base in central Texas.

"She has a sweater covering her straps and flows past her rear."
LOL!!
Look again, my friend.
It is not her sweater that flows past her rear, it is a white stripe that is part of the design of her dress, which is designed to draw attention to her rear.

George and Laura can be proud of their girls.

Slips are pretty important garments.
They keep your dress from tangling between your legs, help with 'backlit' problems and see-through situations. They help a dress hang better and a nicer flow. They stop panty lines and are overall a good idea.
And who doesn't remember Liz Taylor in her slip? It would be a totally different concept in a white bra and granny panties.

I don't think the money is the issue, it's the impure thoughts he is having trouble with.

If you think I have railed on them for being indecent, please provide an instance okay, here goes. #168 where you referred to their outfits as trashy
#159, where you said they are wearing inappropriate clothing.
and #48, where you say they are both looking trashy in those clothes

"Bush family is a refreshing change from the opportunustic photo-op, poll-driven, fake Klinton family."
I have to agree. I also can't stand the photos of Kerry and his wife.

It is not "designed to draw attention to her rear". If she wanted to draw attention to her rear, I can guarantee you there are lots of things to wear that would do a far better job.
These young women visited the troops and all people want to talk about is what they wore. Ridiculous, but entirely predictable.

Look again, my TROLL friend.
the sweater is tied around her waist, untied it would hang below her waist.

IMHO, they were not dressed appropriately for an Easter Sunday Church service at a chapel within the army base in central Texas.
I hope this helps.

You're so right about the photographers and media publishing the most unflattering pictures of the Bush family whenever they can. It's so obvious. Last night the local Waco TV station showed the girls exiting the hospital and the dresses looked fine, though I didn't think Jenna's was particularly flattering. They certainly did not look at all like the pictures posted here. Yes, the beastly cold north wind made all of Texas shiver this Easter.

Perhaps he'd prefer they wore something like this:
