She did.
Many fans of 'Saturday Night Live were wondering if singer Janet Jackson would duplicate her Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction last night-and she did.
But the nature of the skit in which she bared her bosom was a surprise.
Jackson was spoofing National Security Advisor Dr. Condoleezza Rice testifying before the 9/11 commission.
When the questioning got tough, Jackson-portraying Rice-opened her blouse and pretended to reveal her right breast-the same one seen by millions during her Super Bowl halftime appearance.
This time her chest wes obscured by a gray blob superimposed by the network.
As part of the skit, comedian Darrell Hammond-portraying Vice President Dick Cheney -has advised the Rice character to reveal 'just one headlight, real quick'- to distract the public from her testimony.

Jim Belushi is still alive. So if he's in a grave I agree, he really must be turning in it.

>>>it hasn't been funny since 1985 <<<
That would be about right, give or take a year or two. Last *funny* thing I saw on SNL was William "The Shat Hit The Fans" Shatner doing the classic spoof of Star Trek conventioneers.
Quit watching soon afterwards, as it got too tedious trying to decide whether those things were really annoying commercials, that I should Mute; or, were just unfunny 'satires' of annoying commercials, that sould have been deleted.

SNL is irellevant, the show has sucked for so long I don't know how it stays on the air. Everytime I have tried to watch it after the first or second skit I turn it off. The writting and acting talent is at an all-time low. If it wasn't for us having to pay to watch TV they would not even be on anymore.
Cable TV is communism, you support shows like SNL by force.

....and Condi Rice has kept the black features that make her beautiful. Janet and others in her family abandoned their African features thinking white features would make them more acceptable.

Jim Belushi doesn't have a brother named James, his name is James.
lol

Agree.
Shame on you, Janet.
Your community should be so proud of Dr. Condi Rice.
Your the reason conservatives have become so absolutely turned off by all you hollyweirdos. In groves we're turning off TV's, stopped going to motion pictures and no longer rent DVD's and video's.

She's not even sexy anymore. Just over the hill and dumb dumb dumb. Plenty of women are sexy at age 38 but not Janet Jackson. She looks like she has a nothing going on upstairs. Light's on, nobody's home.

I watched some of this last night. And, along with most other news I've seen this weekend - am amazed that the media seems to think history begins in the year 2000. It's as though the previous 8 years did not exist. I hope and pray our nation has a longer memory than the broadcasting executives think we have.

Oh come on!
Freeper's need to have a sense of humor about themselves. Think what you want about Janet Jackson, but the skit was hilarious.

Get over it, it was FUNNY! It was a parody, it was sarcstic, it was FUNNY!

There is no way in this whole wide world that Janet Jackson could ever even come close to the class that flows in Dr. Rice's blood.
However, Janet Jackson COULD HAVE done some of the most remarkable things Dr. Rice had accomplished but...Janet chose another path. That was and is her choice.
Our choice? Dr. Rice any day of the week. A distinguished and dignified LADY of many talents. We are blessed to have her in the Bush Administration. I hope one day we will have the opportunity to vote for this grand woman should she choose to run for President of these United States. We sure hope so!!!

Hey, our own media can't remember much beyond a few years (long-term drug abuse will do that), so they do not expect us to be much better (culture of low expectations).

It COULD have been funny.
If, instead of a 'gray blob', they had used an overlay of John Kerry's head for her boob, it would have made sense.
Exposing him as a boob for the Commission (and world) to see would have been sheer satiric genius.

Let's try this again. "James" is another name for "Jim." Jim Belushi is alive, his brother JOHN is dead.
Otherwise, your point is well taken. John is probably turning in his grave at Martha's Vineyard.

Ding, ding, ding...I think we have a winner here. I still wonder what is in their family dynamic that has made them all (well most of them) flock to the plastic surgeon?
To: traumer
Well, I'm not sure if it is because they are stupid. I do know however, they are not mature of mind to distinguish between what is right and what is wrong. They are not mature enough to realize when someone is leading them down a path they should not be taking. Everything is funny and everything is cool no matter how uncool. I think they do realize later on in life though what is here today and gone tomorrow. Hopefully by that time, they will know what is right and what is wrong for their country and their families and will cast their votes for the person who most cares about God, Country and Family.
