MSNBC/Chris Matthews had on 4 anti-Bush 9/11 widows!

Boycott MSNBC and Chris Matthews!!!
I was flipping around during the 9/11 coverage, and Chris Matthews on MSNBC had on 4 9/11 widows who were so critical of Bush that I had to scream. No other 9/11 widows with opposing views. Matthews did not ask any tough questions. My jaw dropped when I saw one of the carefully-chosen 9/11 widows say this afternoon that "we know" that John Ashcroft and Willie Brown were warned not to fly on 9/11. My jaw hit the floor when Matthews just sat there and didn't challenge any of this.
Here is what NRO wrote about it: "Unfortunately, NBC is only using Gail Sheehy's liberal "Four Moms" as on-air experts today, so viewers may believe the victims' families all despise Bush...I don't remember the grieving families of Clinton-era terror attacks ever getting a network platform to question Team Clinton's performance. We have our IRA account at Waschovia and I e-mailed them and told them that I was upset that they were advertising on the partisan tv show, Chris Matthews because I felt that they were using our money against us. They promised to monitor the show to determine the appropriateness of the ads. So, when I read that article about Kaplan on Frontpage Magazine, I e-mailed it to them.

This is from CableNewser blog:
An Open Letter To Chris Matthews
Mark writes an e-mail to
Hardball@msnbc.com, and copies it to CableNewser: "My jaw dropped when I saw one of the carefully-chosen 9/11 widows say on your broadcast this afternoon that "we know" that John Ashcroft and Willie Brown were warned not to fly on 9/11. My jaw hit the floor when you just sat there and didn't challenge any of this...The Chris Matthews I used to watch daily and admired greatly would never have allowed this kind of bilge to go unchallenged. But your personal blind spot on this issue has destroyed your news judgment." 4:45:49 PM

No reason for me to boycott it, I never watch the channel to begin with.

It is not good enough to boycott only Chris Matthews.
BOYCOTT NBC and MSNBC.
Also, STOP PARTICIPATING IN THEIR INTERNET POLLS. THEY ARE NOT REPORTED AS NEWS, AND ONLY SERVE TO PROVIDE ADVERTISING REVENUE.
STOP BEING USED.

Thanks...I just checked out the Frontpage article and its a good, long read on Kaplan's extreme partisanship.
Here's the start for those interested.
By Lowell Ponte

Frontpagemag.com/articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=12234
MSNBC DIED THIS WEEK, but few have yet noticed.
"Third among cable news networks, this joint venture begun in July 1996 by Microsoft and General Electric, owner of NBC, has lagged far behind rival Fox News Channel and CNN in viewers. But it has offered an alternative source of viewpoints, ranging from "Hardball" hosted by veteran Democrat Chris Matthews to "Scarborough County" hosted by former Republican Congressman Joe Scarborough from the conservative Florida panhandle.
"It was time for a change, to bring a new perspective to the channel," an NBC executive this week reportedly told the New York Times. This "new perspective" will be a new President and General Manager of MSNBC Richard N. Kaplan.
With Kaplan's entrenchment, MSNBC will, like the other establishment networks, almost certainly become just another cookie cutter stamping out a daily batch of predictable one-sided, pro-Democrat, anti-Republican, pro-Leftist propaganda.
Rick Kaplan, 56, is a huge, energetic bear of a man who got into the wrong profession a third of a century ago. Ever since, he has tried to twist his jobs as a broadcast news producer and executive into the role he wanted instead partisan political operative, Leftist ideologue, and, since 1977, political ally and intimate friend of Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Along his Leftward way, Kaplan has tarnished the reputations of broadcast network news departments from ABC to CNN
.and he is about to do the same to ruin MSNBC. Our only consolation is that his partisan propaganda will be infecting one of the tiniest audiences in all of television. The larger lesson is what this reveals about an NBC willing to hire such a person to run one of its networks..."

I e-mailed Kristen and asked for a refund of my money sent to the victims of 9/11. Told her since she was a "professional whining widow", I wanted my money back.

For too long have the dems used and exploited the victims they create to further their agendas. In that they choose to do it during an election year, and a time of war - when our president and troops are trying to seek justice on behalf of the 911 dead - is at best appalling.
When the President entered office in 2001, he inherited a mess. Eight years worth of Clinton Administration bungles created and encouraged the atmosphere for a 911 to exist. The democrats refused to believe 3 Florida vote counts, and the Clinton transition team could care less about al Qaeda, bin Laden, or Iraq - even tho Iraq's Saddam was at war with U.S. in 1993 when the Trade Center was bombed the first time. (A reward is still out on the second person responsible for that bombing.) The Ted Kennedy INS ensured the terrorists had plenty of access to our country without so much as question in order to placate Arab political campaign contributions. The Dick Clarke American Grand Stand for the past fifteen years disabled whatever cohesive effort our national security teams had in place to prevent a 911 from happening. In fact, Dick Clarke did nothing for past fifteen years but kiss the behind of every administration official he could in order to secure his undeserved permanent pension paid for by the taxpayers.
Dick Clarke's apology is not accepted by me. Nor should it be by the survivors of the 911 dead, or our servicemen who are at war with the terrorists today. And as for the "survivors" who get the media attention and undeserved millions with their demands - if they want an apology, they should be getting it from Clinton, Kennedy, Kerry, and all the others who turned blindly while our country, our soldiers, our citizens, our embassies, and our allies were under constant terrorist attack from 1992 through 2000.
At least this president has the guts to try to do something it to prevent it from happening here again. That's more than I can say for any democrat that has been in office for the past 40 years.

So why don't the Republicans go get all the other family members to contradict them? If they don't do that, it's their own fault.

The 9/11 victims wrote a letter to NY Post:
http://www.nypost.com/postopinion/opedcolumnists/17665.htm But I agree that the Republicans were blinsided by this attack from MSNBC. Usually, when 9/11 families come on, you hear both sides. But having 4 Bush-bashers were a "sneak attack" on Bush.
To: BushisTheMan
What's such a shame is that these selfish, partisan hacks have probably ruined charitable benefits for future victims of terrorism. Not just because of their partisanship, but because of the greed so many of them have showed in the face of good will. I don't think I've heard one of them thank the American people for their outpouring of support. On the contrary, all I've heard is whining.
