Coming in late to this post, but I noticed that Robin Williams is on both the "enemies" and "friends" lists. Some people are patriotic and actively support the troops. Some such as Williams have a long history of this, at least back to the first Gulf War with Williams. So they're good guys. But then they criticize Bush so the Bush lovers jump all over them.
That is the trouble with trying to put people in a one-size-fits-all box, whether it is as a 'good-guy' or a 'bad-guy' box. They don't often fit in either one, and you end up moving them around alot. People are funny and complex like that.
There are actors I don't like to hear from, some of them for political behavior.... but it is because their behavior is obnoxious, rude or crass, and those traits are found in both parties! ;~D

It gets even worse when they define their boxes with huge blanket statements. Once a person decides that speaking against the president during war makes a person a traitor that person is now questioning the patriotism of The Duke.
http://www.jwplace.com/trivia.html "Barry Goldwater visited the set of "Stagecoach" during filming. They had a long friendship and later John Wayne helped in Barry Goldwater's presidential campaign."

good catch on Cromwell...can you send info on Alexander and Black? We know of Black's politics with MoveOn, but has he bashed the US, war on terror, or Bush?

Then you should know how the actions of these people undermine our efforts in war and demoralize the troops. No they don't. I even got care packages from people against the war, but they still supported the troops. They can think and say whatever they want, but it doesn't compromize the mission. You need to be able to separate military from politics.
And I guess the troops themselves are unpatriotic and demoralizing, since they do complain and make jokes. I have a photo of a locally-produced water box on which a soldier wrote "You come and fight for us so we can sell you more high priced oil." We all thought it was funny.
However, my commander in chief saying he didn't consider me, a soldier in war for my country, a citizen or patriot was demoralizing.

Have you clicked on your list this morning? Maybe you should.

Jon! I've been trying to get a hold of you about someone at the Metallica forum trying to say that I'm you and you're me. You ever read my name at other places?
The guy's a complete whacko and I have been taking him apart almost daily. He goes by the names, "Fungi," "Noodle," and other weird handles.

yes, I have...all is fine. thanks.
To: RandallFlagg
I haven't...Those fan sites are some of the most rabid places to hang. Of course, they defend the views of their celeb. Which further validates our point.
Celebs' opinions carry great weight, despite their lack of intelligence.

Then it is YOU telling me "YOU ARE AN IDIOT" not a hacker?

I have no idea what you are talking about. Everything pulls up fine for me. If you are not logged in or registered, you get the usual "User Registration/Login" screen if you click the link on the PABAAH site to enter the forum, but that's why I also posted the full list on the initial screen linked to Free Republic.
Sorry for any difficulties you are having, I am unaware of them.
To: Jon Alvarez
When I click on your link I get a flash screen & a song that says YOU ARE AN IDIOT! I get no list or registeration screen, just an insult.

Well, he claimed that I was you over at the Bill Maher forums. I've been pounding that guy so harshly that the whole board thinks he's a joke.
I'm outnumbered over at the Metallica forums (The way I like it) and it just irks the hell out of them that I have the gall to express conservative viewpoints there.
You should read my hate mail...SHEESH!
Oh, well. Glad to have finally talked with ya!
