[history]
Last week, the U.S. Senate passed the Unborn Victims of Violence Act, which, for the very first time, will put into federal law the concept that life begins at conception. Though I offered an alternative that would have had the same effect in criminal law without addressing this profound and deeply divisive question, anti-abortion advocates defeated the measure.

I guess it would then be appropriate to have wished that the Feinstein view had prevailed at her conception. If all of the pro abortion advocates had been aborted our proplem would have been solved.

Have you ever noticed that the pro-death people always use the phrase "a woman's right to choose." That drives me nuts,if you can't even put an honest name on what you support, maybe you shouldn't support it.

Mz. Feinstein doesn't object to guns, only *civilian* guns.
Some animals are more equal than others.
To: coloradan
She doesn't want the whole world to be unarmed. Just the peasants.

wonder how many of her own children Mz. Feinstein has slaughtered?

Feinstein claims to have offered an alternative "which would have the same effect" in criminal law as this bill, but would not address the "divisive issue" of when life begins as a human being. How could that be?
She must be lying about what was in her bill. Was the Protection of Fertilized Egg Act?

It would be kind of funny to goad Feinswein, by introducing legislation that would ban some arbitrary set of abortions, with exceptions for law enforcement officers and other government agents, US soldiers, and National Guards(wo)men on active duty. Suppose she'd get the hint?

I want my president to have more choice in defending America free from the whims of third world dictators.
I want more choice in spending my money.
I want parents to have more choice over schools.
I want more choice in investing my social security.

The other day I saw my new favorite bumper sticker, probably not at all news to you all. It said,"Save the baby humans!"
Mine would be, "My fetus was chosen Unviable Tissue Mass of the Month at the Me-First Womyn's Health Center".

Though I offered an alternative that would have had the same effect in criminal law without addressing this profound and deeply divisive question, anti-abortion advocates defeated the measure. Why would you bother, Diane? If your answer to the "profound and deeply divisive question" is that no unborn child has any value whatsoever, then why wouldn't you just giggle and snicker at those women whose babies were destroyed in the womb? Or did you leave that for your distinguished colleague, Senator Boxer, to do?

We cannot go back to a time without choice.Sure we can.
The horrific culmination to a SERIES OF IRRATIONAL CHOICES is not pro-reason, nor pro-life.

We cannot return to a time without choice.
But we can return to a time without legalized baby killing. And we will, one way or another regardless of what old lady Fine-swine and her ilk say.

This November, women and men across America will choose the next president. This is not to be taken lightly. With the presidency, comes the power to nominate the next justices to the Supreme Court. With vacancies on the court expected soon, this power has the potential to change the course of the nation with the selection of a nominee to the court. And it is not just the Supreme Court. The president also nominates judges to the federal bench, where most cases are determined. There is newfound hope.
