Communion? Was he wearing a yarmulke and carrying a shamrock?

Hey, lighten up!! He only says he is pro-abortion!! He really is anti-abortion, like Kennedy, and the church guys know it and ignore his words.
It's the same as when he says he is pro-black and likes blacks. Check out how many black servants he and his wife have at all their palaces. You'll find damn few blacks (maybe, some stable hands and, in Boston, whatever they call a "Footman" these days).

Shame on the Catholic Church and the specific rector of the church where he received communion. The Catholic Church has come out repeatedly with a statement that it will not support anyone, including public officials who promote/fight for abortion. Some of the talk (and it has obviously been just that) has included possible disfellowship of such abortion supporters.

I think the American Life League is all wrong on this. John Kerry is not the problem here -- the pastor and the local prelate are.

As far as I know, the mother of Kerry's children is still alive. Does anyone know if the marriage was anulled before he married Mrs. Heinz?

As soon as I saw that goofy looking pic of Kerry, I thought, "He's lost the election." What a pompous, arrogant idiot.

But when was the last time a Catholic church denied communion to even one pro-abortion supporter? I'd be very interested to know.

"John Kerry is not the problem here -- the pastor and the local prelate are."
I'm sorry, but that's just absurd.
I could see your trying to say they -both- have some responsibility, but to claim that Kerry is innocent in this is outrageous.

Does anyone know if the marriage was anulled before he married Mrs. Heinz?I had heard on a radio show that Kerry tried to get it annulled, even though they had children. Thanks Dad.

They didn't deny it to Clinton (in Africa, I believe) and he's not even Catholic.

Excommunicate the liberal already. Send Kennedy off while we're at it!

Yes, Kerry's first marriage was annulled.
Teresa had more than enough money to expedite that request.
To: speekinout
never could understand how money could make something 'cease to be' that 'was'----how can a marriage 'not be' when it most certainly was consummated since children are involved??---than again, I am not Catholic
To: ChocChipCookie
All talk, no backbone. With "Christian's" like that, who needs Satan?

There are many good Catholic websites that can explain fully what an annulment is, and what it is not. Money is NOT involved. The marriage tribunals in most dioceses ask for a fee of $500, and that does NOT cover the office/clerical costs involved.
