The mainstream media will spin this - if they acknowledge it at all - as, "When still with the Bush administration, Clarke - fearing for his life or his career - was afraid to speak the truth." Only after leaving the administration could he unburden himself and come forward with the horrible truth about the Bush adinistration.

Put this statement, which I first saw live on Fox minutes ago (good for them), side by side with Clarke's book. They are like oil and water. Either one or the other is a pack of lies; there is no way around that.

I agree with others that Clarke is dead meat, as soon as one of the 9/11 Commission members reads this Clarke statement to Clarke. It is going to be VERRRY interesting.
