Senator Kerry said, quote, "I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it."
Well I'm glad we finally have that straightened out.
For a while I was begining to think the good senator and war HEro was a waffler.

I looked over at the White House website - twice - but somehow missed it. [senioritis]
I will bookmark the specific link for future reference. Thanks so much again!

He speaks as if only those who openly oppose America's objectives have a chance of earning his respect. Senator Kerry's characterization of our good allies is ungrateful to nations that have withstood danger, hardship, and insult for standing with America in the cause of freedom. The bolded line was the absolutely stunning fatal blow, IMO.

Too bad the American sheeple [60% of the population] will never see or hear or read this speech, Here's the way campaigns work. These speeches are given and then the salient lines are repeated and repeated and repeated as the candidates make stump speeches around the country.
When a Dick Cheney or George Bush appears in your town, you can bet your local media covers it, so not only do their supporters hear the message at the rally, but soundbites get played on the local news.
Certain lines will end up in ads. They are only starting to get the message out. And they will get it out.

A grand slam!!

CSPAN broadcasted the full speech over and over but at weird hours (probably flying stealth - don't we know?).
Anyway I did a goofy thing. I went to bed watching Dick Cheney talking, left the television on all night while I slept, and first thing this morning, he was talking STILL (a rerun of course), but I think I have his whole talk memorized lol.
I keep running over phrases he made. Great way to learn I guess...play something over and over while you sleep haha.
Still was a great speech this morning at 4am Pacific

Great speech, wasn't it? Not just because the words were so good, but because he is so sincere. It's no coincidence the most in the military love him.

I believe "Ripped him a new one" is the appropriate phrase.
