Bump!!! I heard his speech. It was great--done with the quiet confidence that this man has!! And BLASTED KERRRY
RIGHT OUT OF THE WATER!
To: billorites
Kerry has mentally ill people like my sister who support him, that's how. This is how sick she is:
She sends an email to everyone in the family except for me (she knows better). The email is the account of the traitor who refuses to go back to Iraq. She says, "I think we should listen to all sides."
This is sent to my oldest sister, whose 23 year-old son is one week from graduating from basic training at Ft Benning, along with this comment, "I would not be for any action which does anything to put my nephew in danger." First of all, she's so unaptriotic and selfish, it makes me want to puke. Then, she insults my nephews' decision to put himself in harm's way for his country. Finally, she's too stupid to realize how this comes across to her sister, who could have to endure losing her son to the WOT, yet is extremely proud and supportive of his decision, as am I.
I will be traveling to Columbus, GA next week to watch as her graduates. I will do so with pride and confidence that he is doing the RIGHT thing.

Against this kind of determined, organized, ruthless enemy, America requires a new strategy - not merely to prosecute a series of crimes, but to fight and win a global campaign against the terror network...a good defense is not enough. The terrorist enemy holds no territory, defends no population, is unconstrained by rules of warfare, and respects no law of morality. Such an enemy cannot be deterred, contained, appeased, or negotiated with. It can only be destroyed - and that, ladies and gentlemen, is the business at hand.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

if I were Kerry, I would crawl in a hole.
Cheney obliterated all of Kerry's arguments in less than 6 minutes.
Absolutely masterful.

What a strong, sensible, scathing speech. If only the alphabet networks would play it for the sheeple....

Too bad the American sheeple [60% of the population] will never see or hear or read this speech, more from apathy than unavailability. Sure the press helps, but the real truth is out there to be found by intelligent minds who care about more than ganksta rappas and gay marriages.

On national security, the Senator has shown at least one measure of consistency. Over the years, he has repeatedly voted against weapons systems for the military. He voted against the Apache helicopter, against the Tomahawk cruise missile, against even the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. He has also been a reliable vote against military pay increases - opposing them no fewer than 12 times. This is a perfect ad about Kerry and the military. It should repeated often.

Many of these very weapons systems have been used by our forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, and are proving to be valuable assets in the war on terror. I think Kerry's Vietnam nostalgia included wanting us to never give up the F-4 Phantom, the B- 52, or anything else from that era. If he'd had his way, we wouldn't have much newer than state-of-the-art 1972.

There is so much gravitas on display we'd better see if the earth's orbit has changed. John Kerry is under his bed whimpering right now.

I am so grateful for our current leadership, after 8 long years I am finally proud to be an American again. We should pray daily that this sense of pride is not stolen from us in November.

Might as well mention that as far back as 1984, Kerry in a single memo proposed killing the F14 and F14 programs, trimming the F16 program drastically, and killing the B1 and B2.

bump for an amazing speech. It clearly lays out what the choice ahead of the American people boils down to this November. A proven honest leader surrounded by a fantastic team, or a waffling anti-American, appeasing, French-looking, lying elitist snob surrounded by Clinton lackeys.

Wow! Great speech. Thank you for posting for us! I hope it's played again this evening so my family can watch it.

Trust me, the message will get out. Rush, Hannity, Boortz, etc. will see to that (as evidenced by the foreign leaders comment). Also, there is the matter of the debates. It took Cheney about 6 minutes to make absolute mincemeat of Kerry. It WILL happen again and again (there is so much ammunition out there we haven't even scratched the surface).
