Thank you for posting the text of this inspirational speech. It will not be covered by the networks on the 6:00 o'clock news, but I will make copies to give to those who need to have the facts literally spelled out to them. How fortunate we are that God has spared this man and gave him the will and ability to carry out his responsibilities so admirably for his country!

Thank you for posting Vice President Cheney's speech!!! I was fortunate to be able to actually HEAR him give his speech today...Fox News aired it. He spoke so eloquently that I stood up and gave him a standing ovation of one....I was all alone, and my pets thought I'd gone crazy. John Kerry doesn't stand a chance against the integrity and wisdom of our current administration.

Gosh, and I thought I was the only one who had a sister like that. Our son, her nephew, was deployed to Kuwait last February and was just outside Baghdad when it fell. I can't tell you how painful it was to listen to her liberal rants.

I've heard and seen similar examples of this kind of insensitivity. I hate to paint all libs with the same brush, but they are such a herd of "independent thinkers" that the brush treatment is probably justified...They always talk about "supporting the troops," and then say these kind of things to families and friends of soldiers who are deployed...It is beyond insensitive. It is cruel.

if I were Kerry, I would crawl in a hole. Cheney obliterated all of Kerry's arguments in less than 6 minutes. Absolutely masterful.

It was also a shot across the bow of anyone considering accepting a Kerry VP nomination. Who in their right mind would want to have to debate Cheyney. He also very good on his feet. Remember when Lieberman made that crack about going into the private sector to make the type of money Cheyney made? Cheyney calmly replied, we're going to try and help you there. I laughed my rearend off.
