What an outrageous comment, to demean one of our staunchest allies like that. He is unfit for public office if that is true.My sentiments exactly.

Kinda shows you where the media lies in the whole equation, don't it? Imagine if Bush had said these things if things were reversed. Good Lord! You could've roasted marshmallows from the media firestorm that would've erupted!

"Kerry's silence speaks volumes."
Obviously, Spain's leadership has not been in meetings with JFKerry supporting him becoming the next president.
JFKerry sounds like those old ads regarding what a mind looks like on drugs, a fried egg.

A bit unusual given that John's post is a "Flashback" ... but in light of yesterday might I suggest we put this into "breaking news"?

They are misleading all Americans in a profound way." Kerry overuses superlatives and words like "all" and paints things in black-and-white.
I think that speech trait of his is a tip-off to his thinking patterns being
- a lazy
or - intentionally deceitful
Kerry is not a nuanced speaker.

"I think there has been an exaggeration," Mr. Kerry said when asked whether President Bush has overstated the threat of terrorism."
What an arrogant fool. Thanks for the timely reminder, JH.

Well, Geez ... you won't make it "breaking news" so I've got to do something! LOL!
I've actually emailed the original Wash Times article to my network this morning. Who knew that even though he's got the face of a horse that he more accurately resembles the other end?!

"I think there has been an exaggeration," Mr. Kerry said when asked whether President Bush has overstated the threat of terrorism. "They are misleading all Americans in a profound way."Take this quote and superimpose it on recent pictures/video of the bombing in Madrid. You wouldn't have to say anything more.

Well... after yesterday, I assume that SPAIN won't be on the list of european leaders that wants Sen. Kerry (D-Vietnam) to be president.
(BTW, it's turning out that Kerry lied about that now. I know, I'm shocked too.)

New York Times calls it "Intellectual Fluidity." Go figure. I rarely buy the NYTimes any more, but my mother gets their large type weekly.
I think it is even more biased than their regular edition. The front page headline for this week was "Hatred and Peril in Iraq: A blight of violence and distrust on progress."
They also had an article, "In Zimbabwe, even the Farmers Starve," by Michael Wines. In the eighteen paragraphs which discuss the poor harvest and food shortage in Zimbabwe, one sentence mentions that Mugabe's "seizure of commercial farms in recent years has destroyed large-scale agriculture, sent foreign investors fleeing and caused economic panic."[sic]
No mention of Mugabe's being a Marxist or of the murders and evictions of family farmers (including 70-year olds) and confiscation of their equipment. No mention that Mugabe's cronies took much of the land and failed to plant even 5% of their new land.
