He had not yet made a decision to back the ammendment process but I think the actions of the pro-gay mayor in SF might have just broke the straw on the camels back.

Well, asides from the fact this has about as much chance as becoming part of the constitution as does eliminating the electoral college, it's easy to talk about it.

This is one vote this summer that Kerry cannot duck... if he does, it becomes a huge campaign issue for the GOP... more of the hypocritical prevaracation.

ARGH! I wish the media would quit calling this an ammendment to "ban" gay marriage. Gay weddings will be legal either way, as they should be in any society with religious liberty.

What will be different is that if this amendment is passed, homosexuals will not be able to use the physical force of government to force others to recognize the moral legitimacy of their relationships.

I hope he addresses the bigger issue of renegade elected officials breaking the rule of law.
