NON-PROFIT Federal officials said investigators are looking into people and following a money trail..... The Youth Leadership Foundation, where the board of directors and sponsors include New Jersey and Philadelphia Democrats and financiers with influence and money, was created, according to its federal tax forms, to aid underprivileged youths in Philadelphia. Until the federal probe was made public, the foundation failed to file required annual reports with Pennsylvania's Department of State, according to Pennsylvania officials. The company is now fully registered after paying a $750 fine. The organization's federal filings show that in 2002, 53 percent of the $302,840 the foundation spent went to program services while the remainder went to administration. As the federal probe broke in the newspapers, the non-profit organization's Web site revealed a number of people with links to the McGreevey administration.

How's about that? I wonder how much money was filtered.....er, ah, make that laundered.......through the non-profit for crooked politicians? And how many other pols are using this scam?

Liz, this is very interesting news.

Also intersting is how the Dem. Mayor of Chicago Richard J Daley, his brother the cook count commissioner, and the Governor Rod Blagoievich, ran a 40 million dollar scam in a truck for hire scheme in Illinois out of chicago. here is the link. The Dems are still at it.

I have long advocated that all 501c3 groups publish their donor lists, just like the political parties. You just KNOW that darn Clinton library is laundering millions in cash every year.

The non profits have a very secretative/sleezy side. That is their money laundering role for the elite rats for political fund raising and in examples like this one, criminal fraud.

The Clintons are the masters at the launder. Naming names is a must.

Also, did you know a recent investigation of a Las Vegas strip club owner involved with numerous corrupt politicians appears to be the first time federal authorities used the Patriot Act in a public corruption probe?

Sources said the FBI sought the records under Section 314 of the Patriot Act. That section allows federal investigators to obtain information from any financial institution regarding the accounts of people "engaged in or reasonably suspected, based on credible evidence, of engaging in .................money laundering activities."

EXCERPT As the federal probe broke in the newspapers, the non-profit organization's Web site revealed a number of people with links to the McGreevey administration. Robert Feldman and William R. Howell, a consultant for Investment Management Advisory Group, IMAGE, were listed as board members and were pictured together as recipients of the foundation's 2001 founder's award. IMAGE also was listed as a sponsor of the foundation.

IMAGE, which operates out of a converted barn in Chester County just across the Schuylkill River from Pottstown, landed $3 million in contracts to manage or invest the proceeds of state bond issues since McGreevey took office. The company, as far back as McGreevey's days as a state senator, can be found as a contributor to his election efforts.

Also listed among the Youth Leadership Foundation's sponsors are a former McGreevey administration official and a firm, affiliated with a McGreevey contributor, who have been tied to billboard deals under investigation in New Jersey.

Pictured as a sponsor was McGreevey's former chief counsel Paul Levinsohn, who served as finance chairman for the McGreevey campaign and oversaw the efforts of others, like Feldman, who were deputies.

Levinsohn, and McGreevey's former chief of staff Gary Taffet, worked with longtime McGreevey contributor Francis L. Doyle III of the Doyle Consulting Group, of Philadelphia, on the billboard deals under federal investigation. Doyle Consulting Group was listed as a corporate sponsor of the Youth Leadership Foundation.

Also among the foundation's corporate sponsors were Commerce Bankcorp Inc. and its investment arm, Commerce Capital Markets Inc.
