Libyan Arms Papers Are Linked to China
Nuclear Secrets Passed Through Pakistan

Investigators have identified China as the origin of nuclear weapons designs found in Libya last year, exposing yet another link in a chain of proliferation that passed nuclear secrets through Pakistan to other countries in Asia and the Middle East, according to government officials and arms experts.

The bomb designs and other papers turned over by Libya have yielded dramatic evidence of China's long-suspected role in transferring nuclear know-how to Pakistan in the early 1980s, they said. The designs were later resold to Libya by a Pakistani-led trading network through a nuclear trading network that is now the focus of an expanding international probe, added the officials and experts, who are based in the United States and Europe.

The packet of documents, some of which included text in Chinese, contained detailed, step-by-step instructions for assembling an implosion-type nuclear bomb that could fit atop a large ballistic missile. They also included technical instructions for manufacturing components for the device, the officials and experts said.

Kudos to Bush and his team for catching the Communist Chinese "red" handed...

The question remains what we are going to do to China to show it isn't okay....

There isn't much we are willing to do.

This adds another dimension to the war on militant Islam. China, in a bid to be a future superpower, could have a huge hand in destabilizing and weakening the us through arming US enemies (i.e. militant Islamic regimes).

Think of this. If China is giving nuke tech and arms to the Islamic world, which is planning to attack Israel in the near future, which I believe it is, this relates to US power, as the US will have to come on the side of Israel vs. the whole Arab world when the time comes.

This will weaken the US greatly in terms of the huge extention of its resources and economy, allowing China to further rise. It may even take the opportunity of the US fighting in the Middle East to defend Israel, to invade Taiwan and have their North Korean buddies invade South Korea.

Viable threat assessment....all plausible possibilities IMHO. Or they could set back and watch the US self destruct via the enemy already in the wire called socialist democrats.

Stay Safe !

Ping.

From the article:

China's actions "were irresponsible and short-sighted, and raise questions about what else China provided to Pakistan's nuclear program," said David Albright, a nuclear physicist and former U.N. weapons inspector in Iraq.

"Irresponsible and short-sighted"? That implies that the Chinese didn't know what they were doing, that they were just careless or out to make a fast buck. Perhaps that is true of Abdul Qadir Khan, but it's not true of the Chinese government.

China knew exactly what it was doing. Nuclear proliferation is not a casual activity for a major government. It was a well-thought-out strategy on the part of the Chinese, undoubtedly aimed at specific goals which we can only speculate about.

Chinese Communists want to bury the USA.

They are untouchable because we don't have the guts to cut them off.

Hell, Bush's uncle is head of US-China Chamber of Commerce.
