'Bush and I were lieutenants'

George Bush and I were lieutenants and pilots in the 111th Fighter Interceptor Squadron (FIS), Texas Air National Guard (ANG) from 1970 to 1971. We had the same flight and squadron commanders (Maj. William Harris and Lt. Col. Jerry Killian, both now deceased). While we were not part of the same social circle outside the base, we were in the same fraternity of fighter pilots, and proudly wore the same squadron patch.

I've voted in dem. primaries before. I've never signed any form of any kind.

If you did that in 2000, your election officials may have messed up. I'm pretty sure it's a statewide rule, not a county one. And in 2000 it was the first time this rule was in effect. (I heard the whining from Dems wanting to vote for McCain, but also wanting to vote for Gore later on.) As I said, this year it could be the GOP will not have a primary at all in VA (though I'm not sure), so there was no need to sign the form. Angelwood, thoughts?

Of what benefit would it be to take that. It'd cost you more than that in legal fees to collect, then more still in getting back your reputation after you'd been savaged.

There were reported in 2000 to be a few peers that recalled him.

The dems are GRASPING for straws.
