[history]
'Bush and I were lieutenants'
George Bush and I were lieutenants and pilots in the 111th Fighter Interceptor Squadron (FIS), Texas Air National Guard (ANG) from 1970 to 1971. We had the same flight and squadron commanders (Maj. William Harris and Lt. Col. Jerry Killian, both now deceased). While we were not part of the same social circle outside the base, we were in the same fraternity of fighter pilots, and proudly wore the same squadron patch.

DUI rehash is next. Just watch.
In the words of J-eF-K, "bring... it... on." Let's get these non-issues out of the way. I have a hunch, though, that Kerry might not want any "recreational" background story trends to get too far afield.

Just like they don't want Hillary questioned either. It's part of the game plan.

Chris Wallace from Fox News Sunday was just defending the picture of Kerry with Fonda saying that "you can see that Kerry was a few rows back from Fonda". So? The point is that they were on the same page, at the same event which was more than likely, ANTI-AMERICAN. Forget anti-war, let's talk about anti-Americanism.
I also have a picture of Kerry in front of the Viet Cong flag. I don't know WHERE that was taken but he had his hippie hair in that photo as well.
Let's call it anti-Americanism instead of anti-war and let world net daily and newsmax.com investigate Kerry.

This will be entirely ignored by ABCNNBCBS, the slimes, COMpost, etc. Sean and Rush can only spread it so far, and the left will say we made it up anyway.

Not that I'm a dem - Virginia has open primaries and I thought it was my duty to vote. Well, not exactly. I've served as an election official here in VA. Unless the rules changed again since the last primary, you should have had to sign a Voter Affirmation form (or something like that) stating you would only participate in one of VA's primaries. (Note: It's possible this rule was not in effect since Bush is unopposed on the GOP side.)

The DNC has sent trolls to numerous internet forums masquerading as conservatives. It's part of their strategy for campaign 2004. I believe their objective is not to change everyone's mind but to just grab a voter here or there. If it's going to be close, they are going to be here at Free Republic looking for lambs to the slaughter.
Freepers beware!

IMO, medals are not that important to me.A cynic once said, "stay away from the guys with a chest full of medals. They're too dangerous to stand next to. But find the guys wearing the unit citations, those guys are professionals who can keep you alive."
Seems like the cynic might have been onto something. (no offense to those freepers holding any personal citations for valor).

so Kerry may be more sure of his strategy than some are giving him credit for.So you admit it is Kerry pushing this story. Kerry denies it, you know. Not that we believe him, just nice to see you tell us.
Thanks.

Mike's unit having lost 3 crewmembers in an RPG attack on their Chinook, then being told that they are not military, is a slap in the face to their families. Ann Compton talked with the hosts of Colorado's Morning News on KOA 850 this morning, and her stumbling, stuttering reply to the "not military" allegation is that the Guard and Reserves take a much more active role in today's fighting versus their status in Vietnam. I think this issue is really beginning to hit home with the Dems given their stabs at damage control "explanations". Let's keep HAMMERING!
....I would like an apology, but will never get it.
No. You won't. On the other hand, an apology from a group whose primary military experience consists of spitting on soldiers returning from Vietnam wouldn't mean much anyway.

This is gold.Yes, but it needs big-time public circulation to be effective. We know the lamestream media will do their best to ignore the facts -- in fact, they continue to try to fan the flames of innuendo.
McAuliffe, Moore et al took a calculated risk: They hoped they could implant this evil seed in the minds of the public, and that no amount of evidence, retractions, or corrections published in tiny print on page 38 would reverse its growth.
The downside of that risk was that their smear, particularly along with their denigration of the Guard, would backfire.
Vets, I trust you're doing do all you can to get this letter out to everyone in your local organizations -- by email, by snail mail, by reading it aloud at meetings -- whatever it takes to keep Traitor Kerry out of the White House.

FYI
I have been agnostic on Chris Wallace, now with Fox, having not seen much of him. Just a bit ago he said the Fonda/Kerry connection and picture were pulled out by "republicans" in retaliation for the NG issue being resurrected. He said Fonda hadn't gone to Hanoi yet so it doesn't count. He summed it up by calling this the "silly season".
I must say watching that briefing yesterday didn't strike me as "silly". More like vicious. And I am sick of this type of equivalence being drawn.

I signed no form. I walked in. Got some instruction in the new computerized voting machine. Voted for Dean and left. Took five minutes. I've voted in dem. primaries before. I've never signed any form of any kind.

You weren't saying or implying it is irrelevant? I'm glad you agree it is relevant.
It's not old news because as of yet, no one is paying attention to what the man says.
You don't think it's a slam dunk? Who cares what you think? You signed up today to post this. You have zero credibility. Get lost, Moby.
