SANAA, Yemen, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- A purported statement by al-Qaida in Yemen warned Saturday of a "major strike" soon in the United States.

The statement, distributed by the Yemeni Tagamoo Party for Reforms, said: "A major strike, a big event will take place in America soon," reminiscent of the Sept. 11 attacks.

I agree. It is just one more industry to be hit hard. Times are tuff. It may also be a good time to become a vegetarian. Only problem I foresee with that option is where the rice comes from. With things as they are, food sources should be somewhat scrutinized. They don't exactly love us in China or Pakistan and possibilities exist for terrorism "in our bellies." Sanitation is an issue in third world countries. Buying American is more important than ever in my household.

Something like that. But whatever he is if they do not already have him I wish they would catch him and inform the American people. Hes dead, no hes alive, hes got a double, no he does not have a double, hes got multiple doubles. Hes in Pakistan, no Afganistan, no Iran. All these twist and turns is making me craaaaaaaaazy.

On the CNN website Lou Dobbs has an excellent site called "Exporting America" which provides a lengthy list of US companies that have outsourced jobs.

Illinois EPA studying Chicago River

February 19, 2004 — Researchers with the state Environmental Protection Agency want to know exactly what is lurking in the waters of the Chicago River.
For the first time in 30 years, the EPA is conducting a comprehensive study of the murky waterway.

EPA scientists are measuring the chemical make-up of its water and are documenting the number of fish that live in it. They're also monitoring how many people use the river for recreation.

The study could lead to limits in the amount of E-Coli bacteria and other sewage pathogens allowed in the river.

Government officials and interest groups are debating the issue.

Sewer officials say that a cleaner river means higher sewer bills. But advocates say they want more done to increase the fish and wildlife populations.
