LOL.... I just noticed your title on this piece, "HOWARD'S END".

Thinking of that famous book by that title... it seems even more appropriate to fit Dean. The book was about the clash between social classes.

There is an often quoted line form the book that goes something like: "Only connect! That was the whole of her sermon. Only connect the prose and the passion and human love will be seen at its entirety. Live in fragments no longer." Admittedly, the character that says that line is the liberal feminist in the story..... but the fact that Howard falls for her and listens to her.... its the election scenario, right?

And then there is the place "Howard's End"... that's their old family estate..... in the book, its sort of a metaphor for the whole of society if I am remembering correctly. And it gets willed to the feminist character. HA, fitting again.......... are we gonna let the feminist take over our whole society (election)?
