I just want to know if this was not done with her consent, he should be brought up on assault charges!! You've got to be kidding. I take it you didn't see all the bump and grind and a$$ grabbing between BOTH of them prior to this??????
hmm at first I thought it was intentional...but now i wonder, after having seen the closeup on drudge.
I thought it was a "pastie" but it was some jewelry that still basically shows everything.

my son just turned 13 - their youth group was having a Super Bowl Party and he didn't go, but was watching it at another family's home with some friends - one of whom is in the church group with him. When I picked him up (in the fourth quarter), they were standing in the doorway and the first thing any of them said to me as we were getting our the door was "Did you see Janet Jackson in th half-time show?" </p>
It was deliberate, otherwise why the pastie? Iam almost as annoyed with their lying as the thing itself. I did fill out the feedback form thanking them for another reason not to watch television.

The following are Viacom owned companies. A conservative parent's worst nightmare.
Remember Simon & Schuster who paid Hillary $8 million for her book & CBS did that lovely hatchet job on President Reagan with Mr. Streisand. |
It all makes sense. |

hehehehe It always comes down to name calling... You really are a piece of work. You accuse anybody who is not thrilled to see Janet Jackson's floppy udders on live TV of being sexually dysfunctional and a member of the Taliban. You distort other people's quotes, and twist their words around to set up your strawman arguments. And then you have the unmitigated gall to accuse me of name-calling because I called you a hypocrite.
Plonk.

One thing to consider regarding the "ahem" "exposure incident", the networks usually introduce a delay usually 10 to 30 seconds in their live programming to catch "accidents" and incidents like this. The fact that CBS did not quickly edit the shot says volumes. They certainly were able to "screen out" the streaker.
By the way I have issues with that P Diddy "cod piece" grabbing incident as well. My sons were watching with us, and I'm now left explaining to them that "No, it is not okay to grab one-self in public, just because P Diddy did it"!

I would address letter to either Sean McManus (President of CBS Sports), Les Moonves (President of CBS) or Jo Ann Ross (President of Advertising Sales for CBS).

Why do we have to know all about the Jackson family's body parts? Is this what these people did at home during their formative years? The whole family seems perverted. Now CBS is broadcasting this trash into as many American homes as possible. What will CBS do next? Have Dan Rather interview Michael while he shows his body parts?

Isn't it great that America wants to show the world just how depraved we've become? ...and the liberals wonder who we are perceived as decedent by the rest of the world.

There's a BIG difference in cutting a hole in a flag, making a poncho and wearing it upside down, and having a flag EMBLEM sewn on a jersey.
Why are you sticking up for this ignorant slimeball?

It's the NFL that puts this together and I think CBS had nothing to do with this. Write or call the NFL. They are responsible.
Why would anyone in their right mind want to write them. They will just ignore it and/or pass the buck.
However, if you saw it, or your children saw it and you were clearly offended by it, then I would suggest you initiate legal action.
This was no accident, it was very cleverly staged. (I believe the word Im thinking of is "deception".)
The network operates under guidelines and so do the artists. I see it in the same way that a food manufacturer packages food and has deceived you as to what the ingredients are.
Someone is liable.

reply to your post #396.
If we can put a man on the moon, two rovers on Mars, order flowers on line, order cable movies into our homes, then WHY can't we order the cable stations we want when we want them?
TimeWarner offers "packages" whereby shows such as MTV, VH-1, Shopping Channel, ESPN, Gourmet, Golf, etc are bundled into a package.
Certainly we have the technology to have a system whereby a cable subscriber can order (and be billed for) specific channels they select to come into their home.
In effect, subscribers subsidize MTV, Shopping network, Viacom, GE etc.

Maybe a "class action" suit from the people would be the way to go! Would love to see CBS, MTV & Viacom destroyed!

unfortunately, CBS is untouchable, as is the rest of the US major media.Yep. And that's why they continue to think they can get away with stuff like this.
We all need to not let up with the emails, yelling, shouting and OUTRAGE at stunts like this. Make noise. Holler. Get after the advertisers. Let them know how much $$$$$$s they are going to lose with your purchases.
I'm sure there were quite literally millions offended by this. It may not make "much" of a dent, but if everyone holds back $10 - $100 of purchases from the sponsors, that adds up quickly. And let them know you will be doing it. I will!

This a general response. You folks just don't get it! The real problem here is that Bin Laden and Company will play up this breast exposure to the maximum all over the entire Arab/Muslim world. The message will be: "See, all Americans are infidels. They have no respect for family, Allah, God and should be killed and wiped off the face of the Earth." While you breast fans are smirking and laughing, Americans military & civilian will be placed in further harms way then they already are. Why not ask the Americans that lost their lives on 911 if it was only sex between Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky. And....while Clinton was playing with Monica, Bin Laden was plotting and did bring down the two most noted buildings in the USA! Wake up you fools. You are writing your own death certificate. Oh, what the heck, vote Democrat and hurry up your demise from the planet!

With all the bumpers they were sportin they didn't need pads that's for sure. Hole in One was posting some pics on the Game thread this PM and it was cheesecake fer sure !I had a feeling it was going to bomb.
Folks had to pay 20 bucks for that ?
Oh yeah! They mentioned on FOX News it was going to be $19.95, sure enough, it was $19.95 on one of the Pay Per View channels, and I see my satellite provider (DISH Network) is expected to be replaying it throughout the month of February. Not that I will watch it though.
BTW what was yer favorite commercial ? I liked the one that showed how the ref trained for the game.......his loving wife screaming insults in his ear. I was crying and laughing so hard at that one .......Oh well !
That was my favorite commercial as well! HAHA I liked the Hendrix Pepsi commercial, kinda cute, but it wasn't my all time favorite. LOL

My sentiments, exactly. I said pretty much the same thing to the wife shortly after witnessing the halftime "show" - and I hadn't even seen "the incident" yet. (I was just disgusted with the garbage we saw PRIOR to the Timberlake/Jackson thing).
