Did anyone else see if Justin Timberlake pulled off Janet Jackson's top?

Her Boob popped out... Big friggin woop.. It's not like he ripped her clothes off and did the nasty right on camera. Geez, you people are really scarey tonight...

Hey, what's the big deal if they did have sex on camera? According to your own logic, it's something that happens every day, so why not have it on network tv? (/sarcasm)

My sister was watching the game with her four-year-old daughter when this Janet Jackson trash came on. Millions of other kids saw this garbage as well. Maybe it's no big deal to you, but some of us would like to keep nudity off family shows on network TV.

I watched the video from this post only once, had to see it for real because I didn't believe for a minute that it was an accident.

Children shouldn't be "flashed" on TV without a parent warning. It's not ok.

You infer that I'm watching the video over and over??? Sounds like you are the one getting the cheap thrill over the whole thing.

My name is not Mel

Obviously boobs aren't offensive to you, especially given "valiant" defense of Ms. Jackson's boobs. And boobs don't offend me either, but a staged event like this on primetime network television is clearly not appropriate.

People wanted to know what your personal standards of appropriateness and decency were, and finally you gave them. Good, I was curious.

Here kristinn, I'll keep this simple for ya.

Why don't we outlaw football, then those older folks and children who might be forced to see any more flashed breast during those pornographic half time shows can be saved...

See, Problem solved...

Seriously kristinn. Whether what happend was an accident of not is a matter of debate. Do I care, one way or the other. Not in the slightest.

Am I offended by a momentary sight of Janet's Boob? not even in the slightest.

Do I think Oprah Winfrey or Rickie Lake should be doing their shows topless? Not if they plan on keeping viewers.

Bottom line, this was a flash, whether accidental or not is irrelevant. It's not like Barbara Walters is threatening to do 20/20 every week with her breasts strapped to her waist band.

So I don't think we're gonna be seeing topless women on regular network TV for now...

Yet we vent such outrage at seeing a part of the human body that is used to nurse babies!!!...I guess its all about context.

Defecating is a natural thing too. Maybe they can have a toilet on the stage next year, and all the "stars" can take a dump on live TV!

Oh my virgin eyes hath never seen... Geez...

Geez youself. You're deliberately missing the point. We're not complaining about what our eyes have never seen, it's what we DON'T want the eyes of our children to see. Most of us whiney prudes have managed to reproduce, and had fun doing it, so we're not THAT prudish.

Stop being obtuse.

One can only hope...

I'm still wondering about that whole cheerleader/horse thing, but all those who claimed it was a valid question have dodged that question like the Agents in the Matrix...

No, it's not irrelevant.

I'm a parent, and parents have standards for raising their children. Jackson's deliberate (see my earlier posting) baring of her breast on TV before hundreds of thousands (if not millions of children) was immoral, offensive, contributing to the delinquency of minors, and almost certainly illegal as well.

Kristin, obviously he thinks Janet Jackson should be applauded, while those who made money from or spent money on the SuperBowl should be chastised. By that reasoning, we should ignore Janet Jackson for exposing herself to children, and send me to jail for spending $27.00 on SuperBowl party groceries.

simple debating misdirection. You say it's okay to show boobs, then you must think it's okay to show someone having sex with a horse. Simple deduction to smear the other side. Disengenuous, but happens here all the time.

Viacom is a U.S. company...run by Sumner Redstone. Perhaps you're thinking of the company that used to own Universal.

I was offended at him wearing the flag, and I was offended at him wearing it backwards.

Doesn't it signify retreat when viewed with the blue field of stars on the right?

If it does, I could use your help over on this thread.

It was an accident...LET IT GO One wonders why people hate Christians...

Wow, a two-fer! You're both totally naive ("It was an accident!" -- yeah, that's why she had a velcro bra on, and a pastie on her breast!) AND a Christian basher!
