"Since when does having a sense of decency and propriety equate to being a "whiney prude?"
When it comes down to the afore mentioned whiney prudes harassing the Houston PD about having Janet Jackson tossed in the slammer for her uncontrolled Boob Ejection

Do you think conservative parents should have "changed the channel" or some other equally mindless liberal type solution? You say you don't care what adults do, but do you extend that to us? Can we live our lives without your liberal filth? Can we have football games we can watch with our families? With our children? Does it have to be the "liberal way" every time? Isn't having hollywood, NPR in every market, every network but FOX, PBS, and MTV enough for you liberals? Can't you extend your wonderful "live and let live" to us? Can we watch football without having to listen to your filth? Is that asking too much. Please read my post again. I'm with you. I didn't think it was appropriate. It's not liberal filth. It's not conservative. It's just inappropriate. I said that I thought parents should choose how to introduce their kids to sexual matters.
I said I was a Liberal and you freaked - I don't think you could read past the point that I said I was a Liberal.
I don't think that "filth" is liberal. I think that we need to understand that parents should have a right to choose what comes into their homes via televsion. By the way, I think that Fox is one of the worst channels as far as inappropriate content goes.
Please try to see beyond the labels and understand what people are saying. That's one of the problems I see on both sides of the spectrum - right and left.

If it was not planned, Timberlake should be arrested for sexual assault.

I think this has probably set a precedent and you'll
see more women on TV flashing in the coming years.
That may be a good thing or bad thing, depending on
whose breasts they are. If Anna Kournakova presents
us some nippage, I don't think there will be many
complaints. But if it's Roseanne or Rosie O'Donnell,
that could cause masssive amounts of blindness.

I mean this thread must set some kind of record for the most whiney prudes with their panties in a wad over the sight of one breast....I dont think it is whiney prudes,it may be people who have a higher standard than to expect to see this on a Super Bowl halftime show!People who want to, can see that all they want, there are those however who do not want to watch this. Nothing prudish,we just set our standards higher than that.

I'm happier than ever that I removed CBS from the TV channel pre-select. I have to make a conscious decision to watch it, or I never see it.
CBS sucks!

I don't think it was an "accident" after reading what her choreographer said:
"I don't think the Super Bowl has ever seen a performance like this," Jackson's choreographer, Gil Duldulao, was quoted as saying. "There are some shocking moments in there...She's doing her job well."

When it comes down to the afore mentioned whiney prudes harassing the Houston PD about having Janet Jackson tossed in the slammer for her uncontrolled Boob Ejection Well, I'm not going to call the police, but MTV, CBS and the NFL are going to know I didn't appreciate any of what was on the halftime show. Including the suggestive bumping and grinding and unacceptable song lyrics before the aforementioned uncontrolled (My fanny!) boob ejection.

I really do not think it is a real flag. I think his motives were to show support to the troops, who love him, and who he always supports.
I will wait to find out if it was a real flag before I get excited about it. I think the area at the bottom of the flag is the bias. Of course I could be wrong, and it may have been in bad taste... but the troops do love him, they do not love John Kerry .
This time, I will wait and see. I would support just about anything right now, that brings moral and goodwill to our troops.
I will wait to hear what they have to say about it.

OMG, that is disgusting! I agree, but what was more disgusting about that page of nipple piercings is the one with a hairy chest. I definitely don't want to see that on TV, but sigh...

It's not like he ripped her clothes off and did the nasty right on camera. Justin Tiberlake has earned the nickname of "Justin Trousersnake" in the Brit tabloids due to his behaviour over there and his onstage performance with Kylie Minouge (sp?), so maybe he just needed a little more time?
To: Lord_Baltar
Humm I cant think of a witty reply to the drivel you just posted. I think you have single handily decreased the IQ of everyone here.

Kid Rock may not be bright and he probably didn't read "Flag Etiquette" prior to the show but:
Before it was fashionable to "support the troops" he did it. The U.S.S. Cole played "American Badass" over the ship speakers when they pulled out of Yemen. He heard about it and did a concert in Norfolk (free for the Navy) and donated proceeds to the Cole family members.
I don't care what faux pas he commits in the future: that alone earns my respect. Very few outside of the Navy gave a shit about the Cole when it happened, least of all our draft dodging pervert of a President. He didn't even bother to pretend and lob a few cruise missles. Kid Rock stepped up to show some concern at least and the CIA finished the job a couple of years later with a well placed Hellfire from a Predator.

Darnit! I was out shoveling the walk during halftime and missed it all. Drudge showed a nice closeup. What was that thing she had on her nipple?
