Did anyone else see if Justin Timberlake pulled off Janet Jackson's top?

That's the way it *should* be, and was many years ago, but I cannot understand how anybody could not have seen this coming. Haven't you ever seen those body spray commercials?

I see what you mean, that this is simply the next level, but it's a bit tiresome, you know? What's next -- Beyonce performing the National Anthem topless?

" A class action suit on grounds that go against family values etc. could do it."

I doubt it. Ninety percent of the judges in this country are indecent themselves. They have no desire to defend families.

Kid Rock, while far from a "Paragon of Virtue", is a genuinely patriotic individual. He LOVES his country, it's freedoms, and everything it stands for.

At least that's the impression *I* get, living in Canuckistan.

Cut the guy a little slack for not understanding flag protocol. The T-shirts I bought at the 2002 Northwest Binders Round Up (and wear quite regularly) have *2*(!!) "desecrated" flags on them. (The front is a partial flag inside the words "Northwest Binders", and the back is a FULL flag with the sponsor's names printed overtop.

I guess this makes me, and everyone I associate with, an "America hater", huh?

I wear these shirts with PRIDE, buddy. I may not be a citizen of your great nation, but BY GOD, I love what it stands for.

What about the guy trying to sing and pulling on his crotch, that was obscene.

Since we're being honest. I caught Rev Al on C-Span today, my favorite democrat. He blasted rap music and street culture for it's destructive impact on youth.

You mean Beyonce wasn't slutting it up as usual? I won't watch a millisecond of her, now that I know her game.

Oh great - my two youngest sons - ages 17 and 12 are watching the Super Bowl with their Youth Group at Church. I hope they were getting refreshments during that particular incident....

I wouldn't worry ... it's no worse than the National Geographics of my younger days.

I do not like the Clinton Broadcasting System, but they do not plan the haftime show, it's the NFL.

Very good point.

You can bet the NFL wasn't too happy to hear the comments by President Bush about steroids either.

CBS...Crass Broadcasting Station

well, I'm just mortified, my 99 year old Grandmother nearly choked on her beer when that nasty dastardly uncouth heathen groped that poor child, Landsakes, what's the world coming to? Just because it's Super Bowl 38 doesn't mean they have to show "38's".

Geesh, I bet old Dan Rather finally showed some life.

Just kidding, this was not a good move on CBS, Jackson and her moron partner's part. Vile and stupid. Why would CBS denigrate the beauty of women in that crude manner on such a wonderfully highly anticipated Super Bowl Game. On a day when American's know they have victoriously taken down two brutal despotic dictatorships, and we can all breathe easier knowing that Saddam's WMD's have been destroyed or had very little left. I find there is a lot to party and celebrate about, the economy is up, winter is waning, and my household can now enjoy quieter Sundays without the roar of the football games being played in the background, democrats are in a royal funk.

Yes, it is a very beautiful day in America and CBS just "$#@+" all over it. But, what the heck, CBS always does that everytime their news is aired anyway.

I defer to your experience on nipple jewelery. However, I saw the picture on drudge and her nipple was showing above the jewelery. Either she was wearing a pierced ornament or the shield was hanging a little low. While, I'm on the subject, she seemed to have had some work done.

Any bets on whose/what body parts will be exposed next week on the Grammys on CBS? Is MTV also in charge of production of this year's Grammys?

The stunt was senseless, the game was boring and the commercials stunk. This was my final Superbowl.

While we're complaining and boycotting, here's another one to add:

CHEVROLET

Chevrolet has a new TV ad that has a hip-hop song playing that says "We can roll all day, if I can ride all night..."

I find it hard to imagine that everyone at Chevrolet's advertising agency and everyone at Chevrolet and everyone at every television station is ignorant to the fact that the lyrics of the song refer to "rolling" which is being high on drugs (specifically Ecstacy), and "riding" is having sex. The specific lyrics above, which are the ONLY lyrics sung during the TV commercial, refer to the trading of sex for drugs.

Absolutely inappropriate for a major auto maker to use in advertising!!

ROTFLOL, Reductio ad absurdium coming from someone that thinks that "Evidently, the millions of Americans who have never seen a breast are out now roaming the streets, with unbridled lust oozing up to the surface!" Too funny.

We certainly thought it was a family event. My daughter was dancing around the room (she's 18 months old) and my 4-year-old sons were a little less than interested, but every adult in the room got *really* quiet after that stunt. How absolutely repulsive. My sons like to watch football. Can we not watch it anymore? I realize that MTV was producing this smut, and maybe I should have known better, but I certainly didn't see that coming. I don't let my kids see anything on MTV. I guess now I can't let them watch football games either.
