Did anyone else see if Justin Timberlake pulled off Janet Jackson's top?

Huh...Well...huh. Ummmm...I'm not quite sure what to make of this. It's interesting, but not really shocking.

The inappropriateness of this is really not all that complicated.

Before CBS tries to claim it wasn't their fault, think about something for a minute. The "progressive liberals" that now run our entertainment industry (including the 3 main networks) have been trying to push the limits for years. They have already exposed breasts on prime time, using a story about breast cancer, as their phony "noble" excuses to get away with it. And if I'm not mistaken, no matter how "Live" a show is, they still run a few seconds delay, as a buffer to stop anything they don't want shown. What if some guy ran up in front of a "Live" national broadcast camera, and blew out his brains, do we really think that the national networks would have no way of blocking it's broadcast all over the country?? I think CBS may act outraged, but it's all part of a planned effort to push the limits a little more each time, to purposely erode what's left of America's Judeo-Christian morality.

Complain to the FCC.
CBS should get whacked with a big fine.

From news.com.au:

Janet and Justin get hot
By Toby Forage
February 02, 2004

IT might be rebadged the Super Boob next year after Justin Timberlake sent the half-time Super Bowl show into X-rated territory by tearing off half of Janet Jackson's bra.

After two touchdowns in the real game, the evening's "top-down" came at the end of a show headlined by Jackson and including the wild man of pop - who was the show's secret special guest.

The stunning stunt appeared to have been planned all along, with Jackson sporting a strategically placed star over her right nipple, which had been exposed to the watching millions. (Super Bowl takes grip)

Later it was confirmed that CBS, which broadcasts the Super Bowl and half-time show, had approved the tear-of strip.

Hip hop star Nelly had rapped through his hit Hot N Here moments earlier, and the line: "I am getting so hot, I'm wanna take my clothes off", appears to have been taken literally by Jackson and Timberlake.

The half-time show was as extravagant as ever, and the crowd played its part, drowning out much of the performance - which also included P. Diddy and Kid Rock - with their cheers.

Jackson started with her hit All For You before P. Diddy launched into Bad Boy For Life ahead of Nelly's contribution.

Kid Rock shredded his vocal cords in characteristic fashion with a rendition of Badwitdaba before Jackson returned to sing Rhythm Nation.

Her "moment" with Timberlake came as the pair sang his hit Rock Your Body.

The pre-match show also treated fans to a feast of music, with Aerosmith, Willie Nelson and Toby Keith performing as well as Beyonce producing a rousing national anthem.

Boy I wish they could just get Andy Griffith and Mel Torme out there instead.

But, once again, since she's black, she's allowed to do whatever she wants to do. Anyone who attempts to cite Janet will be labeled a "racist", and we wouldn't want THAT would we???

I seriously doubt that that is what is happening.

Parents who don't allow mtv, got mtv, at party's with their children and teens.

They should pay better attention in the future.

The whole half-time show was trash.

As usual.

To me she just proves they totally disregard propriety regarding children. They are above the law. I hope she gets charged with indecent exposure. I think we should call Houston police and have her arrested for indecent exposure.

Good post. Like another freeper pointed out, the streaker was probably arrested for that charge. Why not Janet?

Believe or not I sell body jewelry for a living, (more about that another day) BUT after viewing the photo, it, in my opnion is a nipple sheild. I can see the bar going through the piece. Believe me, I have sold many nipple shields and know what I am talking about. (no I do not pierce, nor am I pierced, nor do we attach body jewelry for our customers.)

That oberservation being made, I find the episode in extremely poor taste....

Not that it matters...but didn't the two of them date before Justin hooked up with Cameron Diaz? Maybe this was something Justin wanted to do to shock his old flame, Britney Spears? He sure didn't look happy last year watching her smooch with Madonna.

Anyway...I've already emailed CBS. I am not even going to bother emailing AOL, because they are a bunch of ignorant donkeys who enjoy this sort of stuff.

This half-time show was the worst I can remember.

They missed Josh Groban, who was easily the most talented singer of the night. Kudos to Beyonce though, she was great too.

"Perhaps she just pulled this off in the WRONG city? "

It is unlikely there was a law broken since she was demurely covered by a pastie!

Now in Arizona, the gov wanted to make it a sex offense (w/ lifetime sex predator registration) for a man, and presumably a woman, to take a leak in public, even is done from necessity and no exposure occurs. This in the state where they block traffic for 6 or more hours if a fatal occurs on a freeway.

I, for one, cannot wait for 6 hours between pit stops!

" No. I left the room when they started doing simulated sex acts"

I turned the channel at that point, then sent CBS a complaint -- I didn't know about the stupid boob thing until I looked back at FR. Now I'll have to send them another complaint!

CBS knew what would happen. They liked it. Just another thread of evidence that our country is in a downward spiral. And when the barbarians sieze control, the Body of Christ will be blamed for the downfall of this once great nation.
