A perfect product of our public school system. He does not know proper flag etiquette or protocol. I wonder what the military folks on hand were thinking. I'm sure they were fuming at the scene.

It is a "Nipple Shield" Held in place by a piercing that runs through the nipple. Its a style called a "Starburst" design. They are worn to increase stimulation of nipple--or so that's what people say.

Does anyone have the email address for CBS? I have looked on their web site but can not find it... was it removed? I will let CBS know that their network will NEVER been viewed in my home again!

You're absolutely right. I totally agree.
regarding #1, I think this was Janet's attempt to reinforce the idea that their family is "normal."
Accident, my behind. Who wears pasties if they don't intend for them to be seen?

I guess I missed where she was doing the strip tease. You sure did.
Ever see dirty dancing? Would you like it to be played during halftime when you're watching it with your young children?

Seriously, unless Janet Jackson's torso has turned Whiter than her face, that was a FALSIE!!EERRRRRRRR...
After looking at Drudge, I take that back!
But seriously, how does her torso appear "Whiter" than her face???
Is that skin pigmentation condition that Michael supposedly suffers from common in the family, and is it uniform accross the body??
The only cases I've seen are localized "lesions".
Anyone have answers out there???
I didn't react since it appeared on TV to be a "fake".
What do the Islam types think of this, worldwide???
Did we just blow the whole 'Hearts and Minds' thing???
And yes, after last night, I would say the "Unravelling" [with its 'Culture Wars'] has a bit more to run.

When I posted my "pastie" comment last night, the close-up on Drudge was not yet available. I wuz just callin' it as I saw it (then).
I have since seen the close-up, and all I can say is, "Ouch."
:-)

I think their little stunt (to outdo Madonna/Brittney) backfired. They should both be fined by the FCC. Why should we have Janet's fake boob in our living room during that venue or any other time for that matter?

I don't know who saw the rehearsals, but it could be that execs did not know about it. Who would have though JJ would expose one on camera. Seems way beyod here usually schtick and grind routine.
It is clear to me that it was intentional and planned. She stood ther posing and looking at him. He reached across and grabbed the garment. After she just turned shook her hair and let it flop there before covering up.
I saw it as somewhat of an updated Apache dance, where the French guy used to throw the woman across the floor. They just added the right breast. I thought he was trying to be the macho guy and since the lyrcis even said "have your clothes off by the end of the song" had to be planned.
I joked alot on this, but if I ran CBS someone would be fired and if I were the FCC there'd be a fine. Now if it was midnight, I'd probably let it go.

Timberlake blamed a "wardrobe malfunction"...
A real artist would at least take responsibility for his action, presumably under the guise of "artistic expression." Add cowardice to the list of apt adjectives describing this event.

The stunt becomes all the more offensive when you understand that Timberlake was mimicing the so- called lyrics of the so called song.
What a lame excuse to call it a wardrobe malfunction,
when the lyrics state "I'll have your clothes off by the end of the song".
They should receive criminal charges.
To: pip72
If there hadn't been a malfunction, what would have happened? Hmmmm? Sure Justin.

Exactly. I think it was completely intentional. She's very little different from her creepy brother if you ask me. Well, maybe she doesn't molest kids.

MTV, which produced the show, and CBS, which broadcast it, both said they had no idea that their halftime show Sunday night would include such a display.
MTV enough said? The Depraved sex network that passes itself off as a music channel, the rarely plays music?
They produced it, and they are the ones who put the bare breast in.
