VANITY: The best way to keep America a sovereign free nation is to keep the Democrats out of power!
Free Republic

Will Bush solve the illegal immigration problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the government spending problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the campaign finance problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the drug war problem? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the nation's education problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the so-called healthcare problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the so-called environmental problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the social security problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush solve the medicare problems? Probably not. But neither will Kerry, Edwards, Dean, Clark or Hillary. Chances are, they'd make it worse. Probably far worse.

Will Bush defend America from those bent on destroying her? You'd better bet your sweet bippy he will.

Will any of the Democrats defend America? Hell no they won't. They'd rather turn us over to the U.N. They'd surrender to the French Foreign Legion if given the chance.

Will Bush appoint conservative judges? Yup!

Will Kerry, Edwards, Clark, Hillary, et al, appoint conservative judges? Yeah, right. And hell will freeze over tomorrow.

Will Bush continue reducing taxes? Yup.

Will Kerry, Edwards, Clark, Hillary, et al, raise your taxes as soon as they possibly can if given the opportunity and continue raising them until hell freezes over? Yup.

Will Bush defend the right to life? Check

Will Bush defend marriage between a man a woman? Check

Will Bush defend the right to keep and bear arms? Check

Will Bush say no to Kyoto? Check.

Will Bush say no to a world court? Check.

Will Bush say no to the U.N.? Check.

Will Kerry, Edwards, Clark, Hillary, et al, remove our national sovereignty and subjugate America to world government? Just as quickly as they possibly can if given the opportunity.

Will any other person be elected to the Presidency in 2004 other than Bush (God willing) or a Democrat? Obviously not.

Doesn't make a lick of sense to me to allow the America hating, freedom hating Democrats back into power now that we've kicked them out.

Say yes to sovereignty for America and continued freedom for all Americans.

Say no to the RATS!!

vote for anyone but Bush = RAT voter

Yeah, yeah and any real "conservative" would be there banging down the doors to vote for Bush. I have seen "righter" parties implode from leaning too far to the left before and I am telling you the Reps are ripe for an implosion. Maybe I should just change my screen name to "DU Troll" to make you guys feel better about Bush. I wonder if it's taken already...

It's meant to poke a little fun at the people who are a little too seduced by the Cult of Personality.

If it makes them check their motives, that's good.

It is mocking, insulting, demeaning, and it has me questioning your motives.

"Frankly, with the prescription drug time bomb, we are already in serious doo-doo."

Hey, we're already in serious doo-doo (and probably dead at that) with the Social Security and Medicare time bombs, so I guess that doesn't matter all that much does it. I mean, how many times can they kill us?

Hmmmmm... wait a minute here. When I grew up in the 50's we used to have a duck and cover drill in school. We all just knew the Commies were gonna come over and nuke us any minute.

Then in the 60's that evolved into an attitude of what the hell, we're all gonna die anyway, so might as well have some fun. And the carefree days of drugs, sex and rock-n-roll was born.

And by the late 70's people began to say, hmmmmm.... maybe there's a chance to survive after all and some even mellowed out a bit.

And in the 80's the adults actually took charge and suddenly it's a bright shiny new day for America... and for the world. They tore down the walls and freed great masses of former communist slaves and the threat of imminent worldwide nuclear holocaust and looming communist takeover was greatly diminished.

But, sadly, backsliding Americans lost confidence during the 90's and allowed the aging hippies to be recycled. The good news is, the hippies' last fling at feel good, anything goes, sex, drugs and free love is finally over for good (are the good times really over for good?)

Hey, now I really do believe we're gonna have a chance to live. In freedom too! And I believe the adults will again take charge and a way will be found to privatize social security and medicare and prescription drugs for the elderly, and rather than suffering the death of America, we'll all enjoy a bright new day again.

But we gotta stay alive first. And we do that by not surrendering to the left.

Have faith, my friend, with faith all things are possible.

Now, if I'd only known that I was gonna live so long, I'd a taken better care of my teeth (plagiarized).

Actually, in 2000 it was the holier-than-thou third party people on the LEFT who handed the election to President Bush. Doesn't anybody remember Ralph Nader? Not just in Florida, but in several states, the votes drawn by Nader were close to or exceeded the Bush margin of victory.

Everyone has the right to think how they choose, and vote how they want as a result. However, history shows plenty of examples of failures to understand the "game situation presented" (shall we say, with the Super Bowl days away). This means someone who was so blindly dedicated to his own narrow view that he took steps that defeated his own view.

Tbe classic example of that was when the Germans unleashed Lenin in a closed rail car. They sent him to Moscow on the assumption he would cause the collapse of Russia, and Russia would no longer be a problem. Germany, Russia, and the rest of the world suffered mightily from that situational miscalculation.

Since I agree that a principal issue in this election is the caliber and philosophy of the (probably) three Justices of the Supreme Court who will be appointed by the current President, I reject your approach as self-destructive, even of the goals you set yourself.

Not sure what you mean? Me personally, or the site in general?

In general.

Let there be a thread against Bush, and it overflows. Let there be another thread about something he did correctly, and it goes by the wayside.

I can, and do, both criticize and praise the man as necessary. This is not 100% across the board with a lot of FReepers, however.

Well, for what it's worth Jim, there was a thread earlier where my opinion was asked about the president's leadership as a Christian. There are a lot of conservatives AND republicans (not always the same thing) that are attacking him right now, and while I can understand where they're coming from, we do have to look a bit beyond the here and now and what our personal agenda for the president is. Anyway, I thought you might be interested in my reply.

Oh, you mean the other socialist? No, I won't vote for them either.

Do you believe Bush and the Dem nominee - say, Kerry - to be politically indistinguishable? If so, then I can understand your relunctance to support his re-election. But I honestly can't see Kerry doing some of the things Bush has done -- cutting taxes, highlighting the UN's irrelevance, renouncing the ICC, effectively waging the War on Islamists.

You KNEW it was a Conservative website

Sure - just tell me what is "conservative" about Bush. You think I am the only one to point out what is happening? How about Cal Thomas? Is he just a DU troll? Bill Safire? Another DU troll? On a more local note, how about Robert Robb of the AZ Republic? Surely, he must be a DNC operative. Nevermind, just keep telling yourself that Bush is your personal saviour and stop thinking and the next 4 years will be some much easier for you.

OMG, are we back to World War II now? Are we going to have to listen to how much better the Democrats handled that war than Bush has handled this war, so it wouldn't be all tha bad if a Democrat was president?

I have no idea and frankly I'm a tad bit annoyed at the moment to even care

But I will say this .. The Democrats of our parents generation no longer exist

The likes like Clinton, Fonda, Ramsey Clark, Kerry & et al from the 60's saw to that

They said they'd change the world and they did .. as John Kerry would say ... They F'd it up

They have spent the last 40 years, slowly putting their agenda through .. and just when we are at a chance to make some real changes to correct it what they did .. some around here want to give it back to them

call me crazy .. but that sure as hell doesn't make any flipping sense to me

Perhaps you weren't living in the USA at the time, but the FIRST attack on the WTO, took place under Clinton's first term. He IGNORED IT . He claimed that it was a matter for the N.Y.C. police and judicial system. Clinton was offered OBL at least THREE times and since he couldn't be bothered, refused to take him. He was far more interested in cigars,Monica, giving away our secrets to the Chinese, allowing Carter to meddle and screw up things with N.Korea, selling the White House, allowing his " wife " and her agents to purloin and keep personal, RAW FBI files on GOPers, put extreme Liberal judges in postions all over the country, from the Supreme Court on down, writing as many EOs and pardons as was humanly possible, covering up scandal after scandal after scandal and STEALING as much as possible, from the White House and storage places as he could. And that is just for starters!

You don't like President Bush. You're a Libertarian. The LP platform is for OPEN BORDERS! You live in this country, but don't care about its safety...caring ONLY about " economics ".That says it all.

Why support President Bush? Three words, War On Terror.
We lose this war and nobody is going to care about campaign finance reform, prescription drug benefits, or no child left behind.
