Let me guess... the USS Jimmy Carter is an unarmed sub designed to travel the world and disparage U.S. policy?

Not the skipper's fault that the sub ran away from that rabbit....

Or maybe the captain just didn't want to be associated with Jimmuh Carter...

Very strange. Bartholomew had already proven himself as skipper of USS Annapolis. It seems there has been a near epidemic of commanding officer relievings in the Navy in the past several years.

How can you jeopardize the command climate of a boat that isn't even operational yet? What did he do, go out boozing too much?

Bartholomew, a native of Medfield, Mass.

Wow. That's only 2 towns away from where I live. Small world.

Talk about irony... He got the same treatment as Jimmy 'the peanut brain' Carter got. They both were relieved of ther duties...

The construction of the sub was turned over to Habitat for Humanity.

Whoa!

I'd say the USS Jimmuh has potential for being a jinxed ship. (I mean, would YOU want to serve on it? It would just circle endlessly to the left . . . )

USS Jimmy Carter (SSN-23) is the third and last of the Seawolf class submarines. She has been specially modified for highly classified missions and testing of new submarine systems. She is named after former President Jimmy Carter, who served in the US Navy as an officer and nuclear engineer and is afraid of rabbits.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ok, I admit, I added the rabbit part.
