Also....was it a creation or is it real?

Hey, he was Navy. Why does he wear Army fatigues? My understanding is that Brown Water Navy (patrol boat) crewman wore them. They certainly did when I was in the Corps in the early 80s.
I am going to look around for a used copy of his book. I understand that it has pretty much disappeared since his intention to run for president became known. I wonder what's in it that he doesn't want people reading? (Well I think I know, but I'd like to have some direct quotes)

If there is anything to get on Kerry we had better get it quick before it gets erased. Everyone who knows where a used book store is, go shopping.

You understand, I hope, that the medals he threw over the fence were those given to him by another vet who wanted to join the protest but couldn't. Kerry talked up the idea of throwing his medals over the fence and the other fellow offered his to throw as well. When the time came, Kerry kept his and threw the other fellow's claiming they were his. Perfect politician.

I didn't realize that -- do you know the year he testified because all those Congressional records are kept forever?

According to one document I found on the web, any photos that included John Kerry and Jane Fonda TOGETHER would have to have been taken at a VVAW conference in February, 1971:
This former naval officer abandoned his oath of office, joined up with the hard-communist left and now claims to have founded Vietnam Veterans Against the War, or (VVAW). He did attend their conference in February 1971 with Jane Fonda -- Hanoi Jane, their most successful promoter and fund-raiser.

Can you believe the book is up to 255.00 I'd laugh if it were Kerry staffers bidding against each other to get it out of circulation!

Your quote is reason enough to create a John Kerry/Jane Fonda photo if the one I saw once upon a time can't be found.
