AMY GOODMAN: I guess what surprised so many people when you sent out your letter, and now in your book, on Wesley Clark, I dont think people were surprised that he ran for president, but that hes called the anti-war worrier, that this is the man who said the rest of the world has got to get with us, this is the man who presided over the bombing of Yugoslavia.
MICHAEL MOORE: Well, yeah, I put it in Bowling for Columbine, Im so upset still about what happened in Kosovo, its in my movie. I found a way to work it into a gun movie and draw the connections between the largestthe day the largest bombing took place in Kosovo was on the day of the Columbine massacre. So, Im very concerned about that. And Id like to hear his answers about that. Id like to hear, you know, exactly what happened. And I read the story in the New York Times last week that offered a whole different explanation of what Id been reading on the internet.
So I dont know. I mean, I think thats whyI just thought he should be in the debates, and we should hear what he has to say. And I think any time weve got a four-star general that seems to be on our side, you know, we should accept that. And people say, well, Mike, you know, he said he voted for Reagan. I say, well, yeah, so did most of America. If one of them wants to come over to our side, shouldnt we have open arms and say, well, you know what, OK, maybe this guy screwed up in the past, maybe, you know, hes not done the right thing or whatever. But jeez, you know, he said hes going to do this, and this and that, and he stands for these things. You know, lets hear the guy out, lets have him in the debates. I think its a good thing.
Well, Mike, hes the butcher of Kosovo. Maybe thats what we need right now is a butcher. We need the butcher of Bush. I mean, I dont know. Again, Im notits not an endorsement, but its like, what do we do, Amy, people like us? Because you got somebody like Dean. OK, Dean is great on all this stuff, but I met with Dean, he told me that he supports the death penalty in three different cases he would allow the death penalty. He wont cut the Pentagon budget. You know, you go down the whole list of things, and I just think, jeez, you know, what do we do about it? How much do we have to compromise and keep compromising to find the right person?

More from Moore--you've been busy! This guy doesn't know when to stop, does he? Like the Clintons, he has no shame, no sense of how ridiculous he really is.

Michael Moore has made a career out of selling AntiAmericanism overseas. When his tv show got cancelled, he got picked up by British television (with reruns of that show being aired on American cable).
Look at the covers of the foreign editions of his books and videos and many have "red white and blue" designs to let the potential audience know that he is knocking America again.
It is a good investment in Michael's career for him to stump for "the butcher of Kosovo". It gives him plenty to gripe about and he can always try to claim "Bush would have been worse".
I wonder what the current state of Moore's "October surprise" Bush bashing election film is.

If Moore had the courage of his professed convictions, he'd be supporting Kucinich -- at least for now -- or the not-yet-running Ralph Nader. But see, he thinks Clark has a better shot at winning, so ...

Notice how Clark grabs Moore's right upper arm--the classic hug cancellation tactic.

"We need the butcher of Bush." Is that a death threat Mr. Moore?
Looks to me like Big Fat Mike wouldn't be opposed to an assassination attempt. I just wonder if he (or Soros) also wouldn't be opposed to funding one - they're just that perverse.

I'll Be Voting For Wesley Clark/Good-Bye Mr. Bush
--by Michael Moore
January 14, 2004
Many of you have written to me in the past months asking, "Who are you going to vote for this year?"
I have decided to cast my vote in the primary for Wesley Clark. That's right, a peacenik is voting for a general. What a country!
I believe that Wesley Clark will end this war. He will make the rich pay their fair share of taxes. He will stand up for the rights of women, African Americans, and the working people of this country.
And he will cream George W. Bush.
