What You Dont Know About John Kerry
Newsmax. ^ | Jan. 20, 2004 | Chuck Noe
It's about time somebody put together the real biography of John Kerry. All one hears nowadays is his "Vietnam hero" lines. Before this campaign is over, he will rival the exploits of Kennedy in PT-109.
The Media is lapping it up.
Kerry Postures as a War Hero
As a presidential hopeful, Senator John Kerry touts his military experience. But 30 years ago he led anti-war protests and marched alongside revolutionary Communists. Senator John Kerry wants to be...

Hey, Swifties, keep going.
This ad is proof that the Swift Vets are making a notable impact and the demoSCUM know this.
Larry Thurlow Responds Thurlow did not write reports nor did he seek out the medal. Kerry did unannounced to the rest of the Band of Brothers. Thurlow had no idea he was awarded a medal until long after. Thurlow insists under oath that there was no enemy fire THEN AND NOW. Kerry WROTE the reports for his own benefit. Nothing new for Kerry to lie and rewrite history, even midstream. Heard on Neil Boortz's program today that the Kerry camp is changing the Thurlow/Rassman story yet again. I can't keep up with KERRY'S ever changing stories. The SB vets haven't changed theirs.
So much for this thing blowing up in SBVFT's faces.
Larry has corrected the record:
"Statement By Swift Boat Veterans for Truth Member Larry Thurlow --I am convinced that the language used in my citation for a Bronze Star was language taken directly from John Kerry's report which falsely described the action on the Bay Hap River as action that saw small arms fire and automatic weapons fire from both banks of the river. To this day, I can say without a doubt in my mind, along with other accounts from my shipmates-there was no hostile enemy fire directed at my boat or at any of the five boats operating on the river that day."
I still want to know how the Post could get these records...
So, yeah, the fix is mostly in.

Kerry's People Bail Out of Hannity Show Kerry campaign fed hit piece to WP that came back like a boomerang and bit Kerry in the a$$ - proof that fraudulent reports were filed (in this case resulting in a citation for Thurlow, unbeknownst to him or anybody else at the time, as the medal wasn't even granted until several months later) and confirmation Kerry was indeed the one who completed - and thus the one lying - on the reports he filed behind the backs of all the other SwiftVets.

According to Regnery you can order direct from them.
The man does not know when to stop digging You got that right. But it's fun to watch.
No 'hostile fire at all' We are pleased that The Post has finally joined the debate swirling around Mr. Kerry's Vietnam experience.
The Post and other "major" news organizations would be more helpful to their readers, and to the debate, however, if they join the investigation and address the entire story and not simply one part of it which they wish to debunk.
President George W. Bush is no more responsible for the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth than Sen. John Kerry is for Michael Moore, George Soros or Moveon.org. The only difference I see is in the coverage of these groups and their ads by the biased mainstream media. The editorial template seems to be that if it hurts Bush, run it. If it helps him, ignore it or discredit it. Vice versa for Kerry.
KERRY CAMP FRETS OVER CAMBODIA TALE Deborah Orin is truly one of the best, most honest & fair reporters in the business.
She was the only one who bothered to ask Kerry's "band of brothers" if they'd gone to Cambodia and they all said "no..."
The questions that won't go away The jig is up at the Washington Times. If the Post & NYT & ABC want to continue looking like fools, they may, will and probably shall, but they're really looking like idiots...
25% of a Tour of Duty
-when you think about it....that is the kind of Tour of Duty, Kerry has in the Senate too...having missed 75 percent of the Senate Votes, Kerry also missed 75% of his tour of Duty.
The real K.O. punch will be a commercial featuring Kerry's lies to the Senate in 1971. No room for obfuscation there.

Have you heard about bookstores that will not only NOT stock the book, but will not special order it.

Thanks for your efforts and time to keep all this stuff logged.
This picture reminded me of job I worked on once:
A coffer dam was built adjacent to a sewage plant beside a river so the exposed river bed could be excauvated down to the bedrock during the construction of a tailrace to provide hydro power to the sewage plant. (the plant discharged raw sewage into the river if there was a power failure)
The plant's emergency discharge pipe into the river was exposed during the construction. One night a huge ice storm came through, the plant lost power and million or so gallons of sewage was dumped into the coffer dam area covering every piece of equipment in raw sewage.

Appreciate your stopping by, and your story was interesting... I was wondering how that excavator in the picture got bogged down ( surely no operator could be foolish enough to drive something that heavy, tracked or not, into muck that deep... ) and hadn't thought about the site flooding later, after it was parked- that could explain it.
I'd sure hate to be on the crew trying to recover that heavy Mother.

"He's melting down, and his waterboys in the media are melting down with him."
Nice. International coverage of Kerry's Campaign stepping on a supersize banana peel.
What really floors me is just how lock-step the media are on this. I meant, as Drudge says, the Empire strikes back. Kerry is being defended high and low today in mainline media, from NYTimes to CBS to small-town editorial boards. It's really stunning how they can speak in one big, coordinated voice when they want to.
Did you see the--Sign the 180 poster above ED's head ?
Kerry Hires Joe Lockhart to Combat Swift Boat Veterans You know there is blood in the water when Dems start bringing on Clintonistas to do damage control. (And, for those that still don't understand what happened to the vets while John Kerry was trapsing in front of the Senate, fueling the enemy on, read this account. Grab a tissue or two and be ready to see what John Kerry is doing in a whole new light).

Americans don't tolerate posers, especially posers who keep changing the pose. The many lives of John Kerry came into focus this week, and we haven't even begun to see the "nuculear freeze" Kerry of 1984, or the Sandinista-supporting Kerry of the following years.
Kerry seeks to scuttle vets' ads This is becoming bigger than just the ad. Kerry's response to it also is critical. Suing people, berating President Bush, trying to ban the book for heaven's sake - these are not the actions of a leader
Are Kerry's records really open? All Kerry has to do is sign the Standard Form 180 and this all would clear up, one way or the other. He says he has his military records on his website. But they are not ALL there... just the portions he selected to show.
Kerry wrote the records. It is like a dictator writing his own reports and saying, look everything is good at least as I see them.
We've clearly drawn BLOOD from Kerry and his maniacal apologists. You can tell it from the fact that Chris Matthews and the other leftist reporters and commentators are absolutely hysterical and scream, yell, interrupt, insult and do whatever they can to prevent this story from reaching the public.
"As the Campaign Turns" indeed! Great new stuff on the website. Very, very effective. I've got it posted on our website (www.iowapresidentialwatch.com)to let folks know. ... I couldn't get your link to IPW to work, so here's
another one.
Watch the second Swiftie ad. It's devastating---
The Swift Vets have managed to expose not only Kerry, but the old guard media as well.

We Are Waiting (Kerry) John Kerry says he'll fight claims he lied about or exaggerated his service in Vietnam. The best way to fight such charges would be to
stop calling people names and start providing some answers.
The second in a series of
anti-Kerry ads was released today by Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. In the new ad, Vietnam-era POWs critically denounce John Kerry for his anti-war activities.
The Story Behind the Myth [debunking the "napalm girl" myth] Kerry may have provided an unintentional service to 'nam vetrans by giving a new voice to the other side of the story and finally allowing them to set the record straight and erase the blood libel that was allowed to stain vetrans all this time.
It was changed. No question about it. We've got both copies right here and it was changed. It got away from the broader scope and focused more on the actions of John Kerry, not including many of the things that were around him in the earlier citation.

Navy Commander, Journalist, Backs Kerry on Vietnam This is a "drive by confirmation". If the Kerry campaign wants to use this as a rebuttal they had better get this guy indoctrinated with "their truth" (ala Jim McGreavy)and make him available for the required proctological exam that all involved are now obliged to endure. (if the Dems can do it to the SBVT's then they should be willing to endure the same. For all we know this guy could be suffering from Alzheimer's or something,

Why the Swift Boat Vets (SBV) Cannot Lose |
When the Swiftvets lose we all lose. We will see tomorrow what the postimesjournal has to say to debase the Swiftvets. From what I can tell it is going to be that the Swiftvets and Kerry both where wrong. They will attempt to undermine the Swiftvet's facts with unsubstantiated hersay... |
They wouldn't be squealing like stuck pigs -- unless the ads were drawing blood. And they are. Even the heavily biased CBS News poll shows massive erosion for Kerry among veterans -- an 18-point swing in Bush's favor.
|
Bush adviser quits after appearing in swift boat ad |
I expect there will be silence about this from the Kerry camp, seeing how many of their people are interchangeable with Moveon.
If they weren't unhinged, I would agree with you. However, I fully expect them to shriek this talking point regardless of the ramifications.

Tour of Duty |
Steve Gardner's a real Vietnam hero. They didn't want mess with him, let alone hear his side of the story, because his story rocks J F'n K's story."Over the next three years Gardner served as gunner on four different Swift boats, each with a different commanding officer. His least favorite was his last: Lieutenant (j.g.) John F. Kerry of PCF-44. When describing Kerry he unloads choice adjectives, opportunist being his favorite. His most colorful phrase is claiming that all Kerry wanted to do was save his lily-white ass. Up until now he has kept his resentment mostly to himself. Ive told a few of my friends that he was an asshole, Gardner says. But Im not looking to make news." http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,599034,00.html

John Kerry for President?Ridiculous.Unthinkable.Unbelievable.Outrageous. |
WaPo Finds New Swift Boat Witness, Says Enemy Fired During Rassman Rescue Don't worry; those arrogant media jerks who haven't bothered to read the book or view the new commercial have NO IDEA how devastating its going to be. They're too clever by half spinning over peripheral points on Bay Hap. They're missing the BIG PICTURE. And I'm looking forward to the look on their faces when the VVWA ad takes the Kerry Campaign down with it. |

How another Vietnam veteran feels(Letter to the Editor) |
Kerry Urges Bush to Demand Attacks Stop (I love this headline) Oh, there is no doubt the LIBERAL media is carrying John F. Kerry's water. With all his warts, he is their only hope of getting back into the White House. And, as with Bill Clinton, they will lie, omit, destroy and spin their socialist hearts out for him. They will serve him and lie for him and destroy for him, because he is the vessel of their hope.
"But there are millions of ignorant (uninformed, uninterested) voters who need to be hipped up, and until they are Kerry can succeed!"
Unfortunatly you are correct. That is why currently Kerry is leading in electoral votes.
Beltway Boys Electoral Scoreboard: Kerry 325, Bush 211 http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1196446/posts
Two Web sites, one pro-Kerry, one pro-Bush, are tracking state polls, then assigning corresponding electoral votes and showing results on color-coded maps.
Both show Kerry way ahead.
On the pro-Kerry site, http://www.electoral-vote.com, for example, Kerry has 317 electoral votes (270 are needed to win) and Bush 202.
On the pro-Bush site, http://www.electionprojection.com, Kerry has 327 and Bush 211.
We either succeed in informing the uninformed, or end up with Kerry as president. :::shudder:::
