(That ringing in the ears stuff can be serious business. I wish I knew more of the details, but a young man -- last name Preston -- from Wapakoneta, Ohio is home from Iraq because he's still experiencing vertigo because of the ringing in his ears; evidently he was VERY close to one of those explosions!)

I imagine it'd be counterproductive to sleep with ear protection.

Contrast this story with the one I read about that shrill little shrew Medea Benjamin leading tours over here of people who are against the war! She claims in the story that she gets "hi-5's" from all the soldiers that she comes in contact with.

Note to Ms. Benjamin, it's not your hand they're aiming for...it's your HEAD!

For those of you who don't remember Medea Benjamin, she was the one who stood up behind Rummy during a hearing jsut days after 9/11 wnd unfurled a banner and started babbling something about "No Blood for Oil" or some kind of rot like that.


These people are doing MUCH more than the Hippy-dippy Ms. Benjamin to help the people of Iraq.
