Give me either.
People just don't vote for Senators over executive branch guys.
Has a sitting President ever lost to a Senator?
I'm not sure, but I don't think it has ever happened.
I'm not sure that a sitting Senator without prior experience as a Governor has ever won the White House, period.
Can you think of a counter example?
To: JimSEA
I think those people who are backing phony candidates need to be reminded.

Just found that the Dummies are monitoring this thread and claiming we are behind the voter fraud and disruption!! Well, we are. I am the central coordinator of the voter fraud and disruption that Democrat Underground is speaking of.
It's me.
Hey! Watch it! It isn't me!

The biggest loser tonight is Clark. The big momentum from Kerry is going to wipe Clark out! Clark can no longer run as the only dems with military experience, I bet Kerry will wipe Clark out in due time. Good point. I bet you're right. Clark is a total kook who makes EVEN more outrageous statements than Dean.
If "electability" continues to be as much of a concern in the primaries...Clark will crash and burn faster than Dean.

Sorry...I wasn't clear. I agree that Gephart WON't run again. I was responding to someone who implied he'd resign now.

Who from Fox News said that? A new commentator quoted unnamed sources who suggested, Put a stick in Howard Dean...meaning of course he's finished.
To: Galactic Overlord-In-Chief
I think Kerry is a big story, too. I'm wondering if tonight means that supporters from candidates who will inevitably drop out soon might flock to Kerry....

My interpretation of the results: the kook left hates Bush so much that they're willing to forego ideology just to get him out of the White House.
